I keep mine on also, And the time its off is when my Im woodcutting with public chat on friends.

I hate it when it's off. It's so hard to follow private chat and regular chat at the same time (especially if you're in a populated area). |

I put the split on when someone starts talking to me. When I don't talk to anyone I usually got it off. |

If my chat is on hide, and I'm either recording the screen I have it off. Other than that its on. |

It's alot easier when it's off. I only turn it off for screenshots
