The elven city. We've known about it ever since the Regicide Quest was released. As the Mourning's End quests are released, one by one, there's only so much time can pass before we can actually get into the city. Until a short while ago, only a single "square" of Prifddinas was on the world map. We now have three, and if you've been there recently - you should be able to "see" the city and it's few inhabitants. What am I expecting from it? A sort of ranger/fletcher heaven. Perhaps a crystal armoury or maybe a new agility course. Or maybe, a disappointment like Keldagrim. What do you think? What do you hope? |

Jagex just simply doesn't make any "heaven of some object/skill", that'd just too unfair on their oppinion. And by the way, Rivendell is not a town. I guess it's gonna be a disappointment. |

What? I don't know what it will be I have no clue either. When I first saw it on the map I thought it was some sort of Colosseum. Who knows? |

A fletcher's haven would be pretty cool, but I doubt it will happen. I guess I'll just have to settle for Yanille Bank, W137 ![]() |

![]() Personally, i have no idea why Yanille is so popular for fletchers. All the city would need is a couple of yew and magic trees, a spinning wheel and a flax field. All very feasible. But yeah, Jagex rarely makes things easy. |

It is in lord of the rings ![]() I think there will eventually be a city with maybe crystal armory if they add to the set. Unfortunatly I think jagex will make us do a hard quest just to get in there and maybe a few more to use its shops and stuff. |

Anubis; have you also noticed the path leading north out of the city - there is a large black space going north too, so maybe it will lead to a whole other place similar to Misthalin? In general; I can't wait for it to be opened, and I'm going to go once i get my strength level to take a look at the people and building Anubis was talking about. It will have the latest graphics too, so it will hopefully look amazing. I've always been a fan of the elven area (Lletya is my favourite place to fletch/hi alc). |

I was talking about the other, unaccessible entrance with my brother today and we thought that it may be another "Arandar" area to provide semi-quick access to the city. However, with the large amount of space in that area, it could be possible the elves have more than one large city. I also speculate there is a west exit to the city, which may be used to provide access via charter ship. |

I'm getting pretty interested in this now, I think I'm going to head over there today, as I'm in Ardougne. I don't think there will be a charter ship to the west because there is one so close to it at Port Tyras (sorry for any spelling error there), although its pretty frustrating to access. The sector to the north is seperated from the Piscatoris hunting place with that huge Eagle's Peak, so it could surely be some kind of secret, hidden elf land - even larger, and hopefully more interesting, than Isafdar. EDIT: I just went there and spoke to the guard and he says "No human can enter while those criminals are at large." Does anyone know what he means? And that might be the quest to get in - catching the criminals. And those Mourners are beasts ![]() |
