You've been allowed to say the names of fansites such as 'RSBandB' for a long time, but you are not allowed to say the actual websites addresses, or URL's. It's good to have a confirmation though for some people. |

I was told differently in my query. Grrr I deleted the picture. Well it said "...even if you don't say the URL of the website, you are still advertising and your account will be punished if you are reported. So that means if you say "RsBandb" or "Youtube" even to a friend who knows about the site in private chat you can be punished..." |

Thank you for getting that cleared up. I've always kind of wondered if you could say fansite names or not. |

I'm guessing that sites that they dont like are ones with ads about illegal things in rs, so dont be putting that on rsbandb! ![]() I've seen Runescape gold ads at RHQ. Anyway, it's nice to know that we can do this. I've been scared I would be banned a few times for saying "RSbandB" to people. |

You might be saying the truth but I'll find this hard to believe it 100% since you only quoted instead of took a screenshot. I'm not thinking you're lying but it's possible to edit stuff while putting on a Quote. Well, it'd be relieving to be sure we can say rsbandb. |

![]() Ok, I found it posted in an older topic. A Jagex employee must be doing their job wrong. ![]() To be safe, I'm going to follow the answer from my query. |

Wow you can still be punished for saying the name of a harmless site like Rsbandb and still get banned. I suppose I can't argue since some one opened up a new way to scam web scamming. |

It's kinda stupid really that you're not aloud to say the names of fan sites, but ah well, what they don't know can't hurt them ![]() |

Well, it'd be relieving to be sure we can say rsbandb. ^basically what I think... Also, it would be hard to ban a whole clan that says there web sites name before battle = s |

So we can say web names but not too much or we'll get banned. |

You can say the *name* of a fansite ie: rsbandb, rhq, etc, but not the Address! Hope that helps. |
