Summoning will be an extension of magic. No doubt about it. So that's not a new skill.
Perosnally I think thet're going to come out with... heck I don't know. It's unpredictable with the crazy ideas Jagex comes up with these days.

In this thread you can discuss the possibility of whether Jagex will introduce another new skill into the game, in the future that is. Not only that could be discussed, but include your opinion on what that skill might be. It doesn't matter what your idea of a new skill might be. Just have fun and be creative. I think Jagex will come out with a new skill for summoning spirits and exorcism. By using the skill for summoning spirits, you will have the ability to invoke creatures of some sort to accomplish and carry out your orders. By using the skill for exorcism you can attempt to sentence these such creatures, or try to banish or kill them. This is just a simplified idea. I could go into more detail, but I'm just trying to get to the point. |

I don't think Summoning would fit into the Magic catergory, but hey! Thats just me playing Final Fantasy. I wonder if Charisma would be a skill... Doubt it, but I still wonder. |

RuneScape deserves a non-serious skill that's just here for laughs, like sarcasm or some other thing. They need to make people laugh.

-Necromancy ( Would be a Magic extension ) You go near a skeleton, You cast the Spell and the Skeleton become alive! You can kill him to train. -Dragon Flying, You go to a guy and buy a Dragon Egg. When the Dragon is Fully Grown, You can Ride him and fly. Each Dragon have a special power, Exemple, the Red breath fire, The Blue breath Icy Fire etc. |

Carving/Carpentry Making things out of wood, but not like Construction. Put the already existing Canoes into the skill, be able to make more boats for travel use, and make Toy Horses or something. |

i really dont think they'll put in another skill soon(at least not until RS3). There's no more room in the skill interface for another skill... |

I think in the new poll they say they have one skill in development and want to know our opinions of our favourite skill so they can perfect it. |

Frankly, the skills are quite fine. They should not add any more skills, but rather they should enhance the current skills. We all know that some of them could use some improvement.

I think they need to add just 1 more then just work on all the others like including bloods and other runes in Runecraftin and adding more metals or trees. But anyways, they should add some sort of combat skill to get all the level 126's to work hard for the new max combat level =P. |

Personally I would prefer if Jagex updated Smithing (the Make option needs to have Make X or Make All...) and some other skills instead of releasing new ones all the time ^^' However, I would like a summoning part of Magic... |
