Strange Fruit...Possible rare in the future?

Post subject:  Strange Fruit...Possible rare in the future?
Well I was thinking after I got the random, the Strange Fruit is the only tradeable random (correct me if I'm wrong) right? Well if someday they make an RS3, and if Strange Fruits aren't a random event anymore, and taken out of the game, Strange Fruits will automatically become a rare item.

I know the chances of this are pretty much slim to none, but I thought I'd post that here.

Yeah I guess that could happen. But, with all
the updates on RS2. I don't think that RS3 will be
coming out in a very long time. But, you do make

RS is already 3D, this is just much simpler graphics. If you mean the same level of graphics that are on World of Warcraft then chances are it won't be a browser game any more.

Maybe like a Runescape Premium Edition or something. If they started selling it in stores they would get alot more members. If they kept it at $5 each alot of people would play it.

I think an RS3 is inevitable...technology moves so fast. How many players it will have, what format it will be in, and how good of a game it will be are impossible to tell, however...

I can imagine it, and I agree with you. I think I am going to hang on to mine from now on. I mean it cant hurt can it?

Jagex would be smart enough to make it untradable, so their errors wouldn't happen again. Why would they get rid of that random event though? :P

I wounder what jagex are thinkin about, either keep updating or a whole new game e.g. RS3 if they make a rs3 which i doubt they will i think they would probably leave that random event in somehow. But i doubt they will make a rs3 cos the updating of rs2 is going well and most people are happy with rs2.

RS2 is an old game. Someday, at some point, Jagex will have to update...or just kill the game altogether...but you don't generally kill a cash cow.

Let's not worry too much about that until Jagex actually says that they've begun work on Runescape 3. Then we can start collecting the strange fruits 'just in case'.

Yeah, once Jagex releases information that they're working on RS3, I think i'll start collecting alot of random junk. Something has to go rare if they make RS3. Also, I bet the prices of all the current rare items will sky rocket. That's just hypothetically if Jagex does make an RS3, however.
