Post subject:  How is this game fun? at all?
This game seems to waste all of your lives, and obviously, there is a reason for it. I'm just wondering, why is it so much better than, say, adventure quest, or even I-sketch? The game has terrible graphics, all the quests can be solved in 2 seconds, and there are so incredibly few weapons, it's not even funny.

The reason I ask is, how do I get myself to like the game? Because I see other people play it, and it definately looks like they're having a great time. I really need a MMORPG that doesn't destroy my wallet but I can enjoy.

Well, being F2P certainly removes the fun of the game, some of the quests on members can take up to 4 hours to complete, some even longer.

How to get into the game? Pay a months membership and begin to set yourself targets.

We have our own choices to play it or not, and respected. I bet you are one of those tons lvl 75 players who can't chop a tree for 20 mins straight who gave it up and quit the game.

well, you can compare the addictiveness of rs to the addictiveness of gaia...

in gaia, ou talk to other peopl to get cooler stuff fo ryour lame little avatar thing, then look at othe rppls avatars, say "ooh i want athat" then work for that.

in runescape, you raise skils and talk with friends, to make you rlame little characte rseem just slightly mroe interestign than the average player, then look at other player's cool stuff, say "ooh! i want that!" then raise yoru skills, do quests, and chat with friends to get it.

both are thouroughly addicting, both are enjoyable when done, and both seem completely useless and unimportant (which they are) to those with outside perspectives (and some who are hooked themselves, and stopped caring after the "identify the problem" phase)

That's not really necessary. He/She is pretty much asking us to sell the game to them, you're not really doing that. :\

You shouldn't play just because other people have fun and you don't.

It is a Java game. Its not a Xbox 360 game. Its fun to me, but not fun to everyone. Some people find hurting themselves fun. I don't, so I don't hurt myself.

It's just easy to pick up a play, it does not require any expensive softwore and you don't have to install anything. It's fun, nice and addictive. You can go on any library computer, your friend's or either at any comptuer which has internet acess and you still will be able to it. That's what I love about it's simplicity.

I really need a MMORPG that doesn't destroy my wallet It's $5 a month, how can you NOT afford that? If you can't afford that, you shouldn't have a computer but I can enjoy.

Here is a well-ballenced bowl of EXPLAINING for you.

We all love this game because 1 or 2 ways:
1) We like playing video-games,
2) We would like to meet new people, and this game is very fun.
3) *Optional* (This one's for me) You are is-sicure and get very embarresed when around people, and so RuneScape helps me face that fear.

We all play this game for this reason:
We enjoy playing, it's fun and challenging, the graphcs aren't that great, but they're not Pixelated like the origonal "Mario".

We all play on P2P becuause:
It's $5.00 a MONTH. It's not that much AT ALL. If you don't have enough for $5 a month, then you should'nt have Electricity. And like donahey said, maybe you should'nt even have a Computer.

There are many weapons, you just have F2P, which is limited to weapons. P2P has many weapons. You are wrong about that.

You probbaly don't play this game because you just are too lazy to do things. (Example: Like Gontcha said: You probbaly cut Yew trees and are too lazy and give up. RuneScape is very fun, but you have to go through some boring times.

We all have a great time on RuneScape, it's just people like you who like Graphics, gameplay, story, challenges, ect. And RuneScape has all of that, you just can't see it through all of that Negitivity.

I have much much more, but if I kept going, it would be a page-full so I am going to stop. Make sure you read this, or you have no reason at all to be on these forums.
