I think jagex needs skill competitions. We have combat pure and stat pures, so why not have duels for stat pures? Like contest could involve task where you go head to head and solve puzzles, use woodcutting, fishing, etc. |

I think its a good idea. Or an arena that people go in and stake, where they would go into an arena for a set time and whoever (lets say they choose fishing) fishes the most fish wins. |

I think a bunch of skill competitions held in guilds would be fun, held weekly. Winners could get a lamp giving 20k experience in that skill for example. |

I agree in one way, it would require ALOT of programming, coding etc although i think jagex do like to be up to new changes and challenges, it is quite an original concept. although, im pretty sure this idea has been hinted at by many other players? after all, the amount of players in runescape is progressing quickly and even in the past there has been many people that have probly surveyed this idea through to jagex. I do think this idea is interesting but i think it would not work well. |

How exactly would one solve puzzles using woodcutting, fishing etc.? Wouldn't a puzzle require logic rather than any level in that particular skill. o.0 |

Maybe burn magic logs in a particular pattern? I'm not that creative... |

I was wondering that myself. Straight duels wouldn't work either because there are severe lack of variables to control, making it entirely luck based. It would help if you elaborated on your suggestion. |
