Has anyone noticed improved graphics on the "Membership Benefits" page lately?

Also, look at Auguste on Entrana. Doesn't he have slightly improved graphics?

And a final thing to point out:

Jagex hasn't announced any remaining updates for this month. One week exactly after this most recent update is December 25th - Christmas.

JAGeX, as I know, are Christians, and probably want to give us a present on the 25th. Note that the quality of the updates has been decreasing throughout the month, with the Christmas event seemingly being thrown together in a few hours (I enjoyed the snow graphics, though).

Also, the thing on the Membership Benefits page only appeared around a week ago - and that's how JAGeX generally schedules sneak peeks.

Looks to me that all they did was update the page iteself, not really all that fancy. Dosent mean a graphics update is comming, they may just have decided to make the site look better.

Now this may just be something from a cutscene or Jagex dressing up there pyramid, but I don't think RS graphics look like this...

I'm not sure if this is just fancy art or if it means a big update is in store, I'm just reiterating (that means retelling) what people have said on the RuneScape site forums. Please don't flame me about this. Just look at the evidence (including Auguste, the balloon man), decide where you stand on this, and say your opinion.

P.S.: I don't want any arguments on this thread, or I will tell a mod to lock it.

The images are broken because Jagex doesn't support hot linking, she has to upload them to a image hosting place. If you right click > view image you can see them. :P

Since it looks like they updated the members benifits page they could just make the pictures look like the way they would like them to look like in the future. In my opinion there isn't going to be a graphical update, I think their only going to do area by area like they are now, and continue writing it in the Behind the Scenes.

On-topic: Has anyone even gone to Entrana yet? I did suggest it...

Another thing, and this may be ludicrous to say (as it's not my idea): The world map on Membership Benefits has clouds on it, notice? That's either to hide the blank spots or for some other reason...

And on a related topic: The Knowledge Base section on the Capes of Accomplishment mentions something about the hood and rain. Is this JAGeX's
odd sense of humor or a hint? My opinion is that it's JAGeX being funny, but I just mentioned it to put another interesting thing up.

I think the clouds are for the feeling of it being a real photograph taken overhead. I don't know about the rain but I would really like it if weathering was made and it happens radomly. Not like "in this location it will rain all the time". And have it toogle between night and day. But have the ability to turn off those options. And maybe have the temperature change where you will slowly lose energy (or something) if its very hot and your wearing plate armor. And lose energy if your not wearing anything and its cold. Eh...

Would it be any trouble for you to put up a picture of Auguste, because I don't have much time to really go see him. I would be very appreciative of it if you did.

Also, I think a big graphical update is in store because in all of those screenshots the graphcs look alot more 3D, have a greater amount of depth, and really look a lot richer. (Especially the KBD in that onescreenshot.)
