Post subject:  New skills
Jagex said that they wont let anyone get all skills 99, but they cant keep making new things till the end of the time, can they? I mean alot of players are gonna get all skills 99 they just cant make like 5000 skills and if they end making skills, then will Runescape 2 just die out? Or will they make Runescape 3?

I believe Jagex will keep adding new skills, more new skills, and even more new skills. Eventually I think they will get sick and tired of making RuneScape and make something like "RuneScape Final" on a computer disk and just retire, selling the CD disks. They will get rid of the RuneScape website and will require the disk to play it. RuneScape Final will be what the game was before they retired.

What I think. :?

i think they will take a break after this one, let people keep questing for 200 mill exp in a stat. and then hopfuly wait at least 6-10 months if not a year befor the next stat... just keep adding to the ones they have

PS: even if its on a CD you still need the website for the highscore / server to be multiplayer...

What I'd do, if I were an employee of Jagex, was get three, or possibly four teams working on new skills, such as;

Mounting, (ability to ride animals)
Necromancy, (ability to ressurect the dead)
Shifting, (ability to turn into certain beast/fish/bird-like animals)

And have them all released at the same time. That would both occupy the runescape population for a few months, AND confuse them as to which they do first :p So no complaints about it being too crowded.. hopefully.

Of course, that would mean an extra long download time, so there will be complaints about that. :?

However, in the meantime.. a level increase and an experience alteration up to level 200 would be good. New items, not so much, perhaps something major at every 100, but it'd mean no-one would max out for a long time :P

Not have it multiplayer, haven computer controlled players and get rid of the hiscores. :P

Then that wouldn't be fun if there is no other people playing.

Its a BIG world, and RuneScape doesn't have a storyline to it, so it would be MAD boring just doing quests by yourselves.

Now if they added a storyline to the game, then you got something.

They said that it was going to be an extension of magic.
They should have a skill like kiting. You can make ranged and mely wepins and armor but only mage wepins. Thats no fair.

That would be cool Mounting they should make you can ride dragons and dangerous animals

I think they should work on the skills they already made instead of making 99 they should raise it to like 200 or something lol

i say they wait at least a year before letting a new skill out, i mean con and hunting should keep a lot of people occupied for a while, but jagex actually needs to listen to what the players actually want.

I think this is a bit of a dumb question.

RuneScape will end before we have 5000 skills and I suppose they expected to produce new skills faster. Either way the max amount of skills would be around 40.
