Post subject: Y not a WC Guild ?????
PostPosted: November 8th, 2004, 6:22 pm
I know there are magic guilds, ranging guild etc... but why not a woodcutting guild. I myself is an aiight woodcutter & i think woodcutters around runescape should have a guild in which they should target for

I think in the guild they should accept woodcutters over the level of 65 +
& inside the guild there should be

10 yew trees
5 willow trees
7 normal trees
& 1 magic tree

I hope you take into account my suggestion & have a gud day

It's an alright suggestion, though there could be a lil few magic trees since there's like only 1 or 2 in RS, the prices of magic logs may fall if there were a few more. There should be considerably more normal trees ( or less yew) since yews are supposed to be rare so 10 yew trees would be a lot in one area. Willow have to be near water (says so when you examine willow trees - I examine things a lot :P )

Well, I know it is a WC Guild, that you wc, but is that *all* you do? Maybe you could do a lil bit of fletching there (like the crafting guild, you can mine stuff there as well). Maybe a few more suggestions like item respawns (tinderboxes for firemaking), or axe repairers, shops (axe seller, or even an axe head shop?)

I think raising wc is fairly easy to raise after 60 woodcutting or so, or by the power-woodcutting technique shown in the woodcutting guide in the RHQ website, so shouldn't the minimum level requirement be a little bit higher? Like around 70 or above?

Maybe give a little more details?

Well there could be a Wood-Cutter's \ Fletcher's Guild.
You could also add Firemaking into it since it is dependent onto Woodcutting.

But I think that Seer's is a pretty much the Wood-cutter's haven.

All the available trees are right there in close proximity of the town.

You can even do bow strings.

IMO, Seer's is the Woodcutting, Fletching, Firemaking Guild, just that all can access it (Member's that is) and it isn't called a Guild but a town.

Yea adding a woodcutting guild would just be a disappointment, Seers will always be better.

But if they did add it for f2p (which I highly doubt), they could add some maple trees for free players.

Yes, Seers is quite an amusing location in the world of Runescape :)
