I bet the title is a little confusing but let me explain, Jagex are going to release accomplishment capes for people who did all the quests or are lvl99 in a skill. Now there are some item collectors in RS (like me) who collect rares, such as masks and phats. But if we buy an easter or a pumpkin, we can't show it to anyone unless we trade them. So I was thinking, why don't we have capes with a picture of a rare item you can't wear. So everybody with an easter, pumpkin, Xmas cracker, half wine and disk can show to everyone that they have that item. Any thoughts? |

Well I think its a good idea but where would the cape come from? Would it just appear when you bought the item? And what if...say shrimp all of a sudden became rare? ![]() |

No, I think it's a bad idea. A pumpkin doesn't mean anything. You could have found it on the ground, gotten it for free, or just merchanted for it. But for the capes, you need to do stuff. But I don't understand the quest thing... They keep making new quests... |

Doesn't really make much sense... I personally don't think they should update rare items, just gives another reason for them to fluctuate in price. |

Well, I asked people in game, and the only who agreed had an easter or pumpkin :\ Oh well, doesn't matter, Jagex wouldn't listen anyways if I sugested it. Ranging God wrote: That is a very good idea actually...

Well it's the same as: What the hell will happen when new quests come out for the quest cape? A time limit is the best I can think of. |
