Well, I saw in someone's signature that no-one makes interesting threads in this forums (and to be honest, I do agree.), and so I came up with this. Design a storyline, briefly explain it, and say how it could be incorporated into the game. For example, my one. Storyline ----- The City of Sitlanta ----- - Mages of Wizards Tower realise a city in the distant corners of runescape, known as Sitlanta, has begun to float into the sky. - The Mages report the situation to the 2 kings of eastern runescape, who proceed to send diplomats to Sitlanta. The diplomats do not return. - Curious as to where the Diplomats had gotten to, and what was causing the City of Sitlanta to rise in to thin air, the two Kings of Eastern Runescape decide to go to the city themselves. They also, do not return. - Simultaneously, as the Kings are reported missing, the Mages of Wizards Tower declare to the public that if the city continues to rise into the air, the pressure will cause the city to crumble - and eventually crash down to Runescape, causing a tidal wave - of earth. - You, as an Acknowledged Hero are asked to complete three objectives, -- 1) Find the missing Kings and Diplomats. -- 2) Find and record the cause of the Rising City. -- 3) Terminate the Rising. ----- - Notable things that happen withing the quest. -- You are teleported to the city through a new portal underneath Wizards Tower. -- The cause of the city rising is a demon known as Nekomain. A cat-like being who weilds the power of the deadly "7 Elements" Sword. -- Defeating the demon involves fighting within 7 realms of elemental power, taking damage according to what element the demon uses; -- 1) Earth Realm - Players fighting the demon will take damage from avalanches as well as the Demonic Attacks. -- 2) Water Realm - Players will have 5 minutes to defeat the demon in this area before drowning. (Does not cause death, but will be teleported to wizards tower) -- 3) Fire Realm - Constant burn damage is taken by players. -- 4) Air Realm - Fought in the sky, however can only be done by buying the float armour from a shop in Sitlanta. No extra damage is taken here however energy must be kept above 1% to continue flight. -- 5) Realm of Shadows - Players are randomly 'blinded' causing them to be unable to attack for 3 seconds. -- 6) Realm of Pain - Players take damge equal to 50% of what they inflict on the demon. -- 7) Realm of Elements - The demon gain powers of each of the realms you have fought in, this area is only acessable after the past 6 have been completed. All player's skills in this area are dropped by 1 per 10 seconds. ----- This would be put into the game as an "Epic Quest", a new thing I thought up just moments after writing this exact sentence. (:P) Basically an Epic quest is one you'd have to complete in a group, 5 people max for this quest. And so would have to register together before the quest begins. (Done at quest startng point, i.e. wizards tower) And if anyone wonders about what the rewards could be, you get a sword of an element that you choose, each will have the effect of what the realm of that element had on you. Earth - Opponent suffers from avalanches. Water - Opponent drowns after 30 seconds of continuous combat. Fire - Opponent suffers burn damage. Air - Opponent cannot run away. Shadows - Opponent may be blinded for 3-5 seconds. Pain - Damage dealt to you is inflicted at 25% on you opponent(s) 7 Sword - Randomly chooses one of the above every 10 seconds. --- *sigh* yes, Breifly explain a storyline you'd like to see ^^ (And yes, that was a warrior quest) |

Sounds pretty cool to me ![]() I have a wide imagination but really cannot be bothered to think of a storyline that long yet, no doubt I'll come up with something later on though, I'm thinking as we speak... ![]() |

Yeah, lol. It doesn't have to be that long I just tend to come up with a lot which no-one will understand if I leave lots of stuff out. :$ That's why it's so big. (Could have been bigger ![]() |

Nah I understand it, sounds wicked, if only Jagex would actually think about doing those sort of ideas, it would bring the game out, as in make it more medieval. |

Nice story line, I can't think of one atm :'( The only thing about your story line is the reward, like the water one seems stupid to me, because you have a very high chance of becoming unbeatble with it ![]() |

Eh, if I had a better idea I'd change it. And it's 30 seconds, most are either dead or running away by that time. ![]() |
