Runescape Bits & Bytes :: View topic - Huge info on new prayers

I thought I'd use what I knew about the interfaces and that handy pic Skate Ilkley provided..

..and make a fake about what it may look like.

The menu in that picture is way too long compared to the normal menu we have now, so it may mean we're getting some OVERALL changes to the way RS looks. So for now, I just added a scroll bar. Haha, I'm cheap. O well. Here you go.

The biggest rumor about the prayers that is going around is the change in prayer levels.

I suggest that you DON'T believe this.

All the pures are scared. They think that Jagex might stick to the trend and keep making all prayers 3 levels apart, and seeing as we know where they're placed, people think we can figure out new levels.

A lot of people think the new smite level is going to be 70, which is plain stupid. =\

IF Jagex does do this, which they most likely WON'T, they'll get millions of complaints on the forums and through customer support and I'm sure they'll be force to change it back anyway.

But, back to the point, don't believe anything you hear until the prayers DO come out. The only thing we're sure about is the placement.

A direct quote from forum mod Dzfunk64, "They already said what it will be in the behind the scenes; 3 range prayers and 3 mage prayers, that are equal to the current melee prayers." So now we know there will be 6 prayers and not just 2. This also proves the pictures of the new prayers false. Well the thing is that you can not be 100% sure hes telling the truth. Player moderators are not Jagex staff, and they know no more then a regular player about updates and what they are going to contain.

there supposed to match melle, meaning, 5%, 10%, and 15% prayers. so one will be low level - mid level - high level. wheather they are before or after the melle prayers i have no idea

if they raised the lvls on prayers that would be good. 1 it would mess up those **** staker prayer noobs lol (btw i realy hate stakers lol just so ya know) and 2 it would make the game more challanging i.e. more fun.

I do agree, but it seems they've already chosen how the new prayers are going to look and where they are going to be placed, unless this was a way to throw people off?

I'm sorry I was under the impression that most people had figured that there would be 6 prayers, the mage would not increase your level and they would all be 5% 10% or 15%. Mind you Jagex may have to do some tweaking.
