Well I read the news like everyone and decided to nose around the website and came across this...

From my reasonable guessing, the eye shaped ones will be for range and the pyramid ones will be for mage. The first pair of prayers will need level 7-10 prayer and will raise mage/range by 5%, the second pair will need level 25-28 prayer and will raise mage/range by 10%, the last pair will need level 43-46 prayer and will raise mage/range by 15%.

It seems like Jagex have pretty much finished it even though it says it will be released "later this month". I hope these new prayers will be released for f2p players too as it would only seem fair to balance that triangle-thingy. Enjoy your update.

ya that just looks tight. they do finish things ahead of time then start on new things just so they can stay ahead of stuff. but ya those prayer will prob be free game but it might go members only again. you never know lol. but prayers seem mainly member+free game so far. ya. all well cant wait? can you?

probably going to be f2p. there are few low lvls on the chart, having members using them would be a waste considering.

I doubt the mage prayer will be much help unless it also increases max hit of spells, because how much does a few mage levels really increase the accuracy?

I have no doubt the range one should help though, because you hit higher with higher levels, unlike with magic.

I think they shouldn't add a mage one.. The fight system is already made so mages are stronger(magicks)

Lol the magic one realllllly isn't needed. Ancients hit through prayer pretty easily, giving them a boost is crazy. XD

Anyway, this will be p2p, no doubt.

the prayer boost for magic will mean faster recasting of spells as well. i don't think it will be made f2p.

...This won't be released for F2P, my guarantee. If I'll be wrong, MasterOfTheVortex is allowed to eat me. Don't build on chances I'll be dead after that though. :P

the magic spell max damage limit is fixed. magic levels don't affect the power of the spell at all. so the notion that mages will be overpowered by the new prayer is not true at all. i have done my fair share of maging so i have my personal experience and observations to base this on.
