List of Runescape tweaks and suggestions * a separate chat for trading * replace the black void in the background with colors that match the environment * a prayer for nondepleting energy * show xp total on your skill window * hotkeys for waving, msging friends, etc * ability to see your server * an option to mute the main theme * reduce the time span of poisonous clouds while thieving chests * high scores show combat level (submitted by Super Texan) * have a "do not disturb" or "brb" option for private chat * tabbed bank browsing (seen on Tip.it forums) * add miniskills, such as making your own clothes, bard songs which affect stats much like Prayer, etc * skill outfits to wear while training a skill * able to change your race (elf, human, dwarf, gnome, ogre, etc) * auras to boost combat around your teammates (perhaps from prayer) * a kill count for slayer skill that pops up when youre fighting the assigned enemy * ability to change an option without stopping the current action (Example: toggling Run won't stop you from fighting) * update Agility by running errands around the map of Runescape (see One Small Favor quest) to gain experience; currently Agility is very restrictive * a custom title for your character (Example: N0valyfe, Jack of all trades) displayed on the hiscores * have userset censor levels (submitted by Monkpunk_24) * ability to examine other players and add a custom examine quote * Jagex Shop can sell untradeable special outfits * add titles for each skill level * option to name your cat thanks to n0valyfe for the ideas, thaught id share them with you all. |

Some of these are abit like Ragnarok Online. I don't play that anymore (so don't ask about it) but the Ragnarok like ideas take away RuneScape's originality. Although some of them would be pretty good. |

The others are pretty good. Especially the 'BRB'/'AFK' stuff. But I don't think you'll need it since you're logging out after a minute of being inactive. |

a /afk feature where when u do it your character freazes and you are able to go afk for up to like 10 minits. but to stop people from using this to auto. u wont be able to move or interact with anything (fishing/fletching/minging exc) when afk u just sit there with the words AFK above ur head. (will not work in wildy) |

lol do you no what i find annoying... is the stupid frog tokens lol. Dont ask me why but every time i see a frog i kiss it then i think "grr lol why did i do that" i have got like 20+ tokens now in my bank. so basicly im saying jagex make a shop or a NPC you can go to so you can get rid of them sort of items. Its sort of the idea some one said back near the beginning of the thread they said about the clothes i think well tell me what you think about the idea ? |

The user set censor levels are like strict censoring,medium censoring, and no censoring. The titles for each skill level are like 1-10 beginer, 10-20 novice, 99 master, etc. |

Yea but you know why Jagex doesnt add a lot of these types of things to their system? Because then it would make them like any other MMORPG on the internet. Jagex is a special MMORPG if nobody has really noticed. They dont have a lot of different types of windows and hotkeys to make shortcuts to make the game easier. They keep the game on a slight challenge to anyone. They also are one of the only online games that I have played that actually have food that heal and potions that help you SEPERATE. ----------------------------- Here are a few select rules I can explain on: *A custom title for your character (Example: N0valyfe, Jack of all trades) displayed on the hiscores. As for this rule they can add this to your name but it cant say stuff like "Jack Of All Trades" they can surely add your clan name and an emblam to your name but then this would make Runescape like any other online game that has clans. Also it might make the game different because then the best of friends could become the worst of enemies... *Jagex Shop can sell untradeable special outfits Also having an online shop to pay money just to get special items is just a waste in my eyes. I've played games that have this and its kinda unfair to people. Then it makes the people that actually buy the stuff even "better" than everyone else. RS already has this stuff with the so called "rare items". This idea would make it so much worse... ---------------------------- And as for some of the other rules they have either added it or it would just make them line any other MMORPG. I say keep everything how it is and just add small things here and there. |
