Well..... No Drops.....i understand why Jagex wouldnt allow from POH monsters... No Slayer....well....i think its because the fact that POH monsters arent as strong as the actual monsters....sure maybe the same lvl but if u notice....they aint as strong.... No Exp.....thats not good...lol i dont know how else to put it ![]() |

Jagex may really just be messing with everyone as they have been.. Everyone wanted another dragon item and Jagex agreed and had everyone wispering dragon plate, and what came out? a dragon wood-cut axe which served no extra advantages and a dragon 2h mainly for show.. and now this great skill construction.. dating back to rsc people have craved, nearly demanding, such a skill. To have your own house? great, ask for more? well they can always swish their finger back and forth and call us greedy. |

Why else is my construction hte lowest skill, when i've made it a point to keep all my skills high? Because the skill is useless, it's only benefit is level 72 for the prayer alters and that's as high as i will -EVER- get it unless jagex decides to give me a reason to train it. I am not a shallow moron that gets his kicks out of showing off his pixels, so having a 10 milion gp dragon in my basement that doesn't drop anything, doesn't give me exp or provide anything worth while is no interest to me what so ever. Construction was one of jagexs biggest **** ups, everyone screamed farming was useless, yet it has a hell of a lot more benefits going for it than carpentry ever has. The skill has no variety, you get about 5 diffrent types of every item, it just plan sucks. You can't be creative, you can't be unique and you don't gain anything from doing it but a big head, perhaps. |

only thing that i see that is useful besides the portal and chapal for obvious reasons, is that you can repair your own barrows armor for a cheaper price. so in the long long long long long LONG run you'll probably break even |

I think Jagex should give you the abillity to build a bank chest in your house.. obviously at a high level 85-90 maybe. But yea other than prayer, they have no real benefits. |

If you look at every skill, every skill has it's own money maker: Fighting Attack: Kill monsters Strength: Kill monsters Defence: Kill monsters HP: Kill monsters Range: Kill monsters Pray: Kill monsters Mage: Kill monsters/Alch Skills Agility: go through shortuts to monsters Herb: Make potions and sell them - huge moneymaker Thieving: Steal stuff and sell it back RuneCraft: Make runes and sell them Cradting: Make stuff and sell it Fletching: Fletch and alch Mining: Sell ores/make bars Smithing: Make bars and sell them or make stuff and sell it Fishing: Sell fish Cooking: Cook/sell fish Firemaking: Nothing but does not waste money Woodcutting: Sell logs Slayer: Gives all the more reason to kill monsters and get their drops Farming: Grower ranarrs Construction: ZIP All construction does is waste money. 1. There is no way to get any supplies without spending money so the skill is practically useless 2. All construction is, as Creepy said, show off our pixels. "Woo come to my mansion! I'm freaking rich because I can afford all this useless crap! Woops! Now i'm poor!" Same thing happened to me. First day construction came out, all I wanted to do was make houses. After I sold my rune kite and obby cape for supplies, I came to realize: "What does this house have for me that will help me?" NOTHING. Future befits for houses ***Taken from Wiz126's thread*** Biggest features: Using the farming skill to grow herbs and plants in the grounds of your house. <- Not Yet Build your own private party areas and shop areas, and more! <- Not Yet Clan support, to allow you to optionally form your own clans with your friends. <- Not Yet Randomly generated scenarios, where a new adventure is generated for you and your friends each time you go on it. Form an adventuring party and go on your own personal quest. <- Not Yet The rest of the updates sound good, so after these updates and it's not as we expected, we'll vent ![]() Thank you for your time ![]() |
