Selling wooden sheild... 100Million..

Wanna know why?

Because Party hats, has no bounuses at all whatsoever, and they are not usually seen by people, or worn, or sold, or broguth.

Wooden sheilds dont have stats, bounuses, but they might have +1 defence to slash\crush\stab. and that is way close to party hats, not much peple wear wooden sheilds, only in the free to play, and ive been keeping this wooden sheild in my bank almost since i was level 100.

and i thoughed to myself... "party hats are rare... wooden sheilds are often not wore..."

um.... :roll:

Long ago When no one could care about party hats there was a noob who found a bug, the bug was Cloning/Reproducing, basically the noob foud a bug that made him get more... Then for some reason he raise the price to 30mill since little people were aware of these items. Now Jagex discovered there was a bug on the item and banned the noob as well as fix the bug. From then the "bug abbuse" rule was made.

For people who are interested to know, the glitch was when you drop the party hat in some way it remain in your invetory. This allowed you to pick up the party hat while there was one in your inventory which makes you have 2!!

And from there thats the history of party hats so you can't blame the glory hunters but what I can say is that until something similar happens no prices will raise (THAT HIGH) ever again.

Yes.

That and people don't buy them for their stats. It's a status symbol if you walk around in a partyhat.

No need for a link to a websie I already explained it. But now eveyone knows that it's clear why party hats are expencive...

metalic_fire, One thing to add to you, duplicating only worked when u droped while walking, since untill then droping while walking was just not possible

also i got to add, before duplicating, pink was the highest priced phat , then it was green then yellow then blue then red....go figured what made them switched...

Also i just loged on into my calssic account and sow that i still got 2 phats sets =) Too bad i can't move them to rs2 =( .....when we could switch items between rsc and rs2 i thought phats will allways be worth around 50k and so i just left them in classic......what a mistake!!!! i was that stupid to think that... =(

Phat are like oil...the few people that are rich enough to own or control them control the price. There are no national reserves in runescape so I would predict that phat hats will continue to go up in price for the entire time runescape exists...so buy up while they are still cheap (I'm serious). Assuming you can get the capital, there is no return that can equal a phat.

Prediction for next year: January 1 Phats hit 1 billion, Santas hit 50 million on inflation rise.

My member friend sold a bronze hally for 100k to this level 80 who had just become member lol.
