Seriously, this is getting rediculous, approximately 1/3 of the people I've met on RuneScape are very immature, and they're the reason why we have such a strict chat filter in place. This game, in my opionion, was made for older people (Teenagers or up). Shouldn't this game have a less strict chat filter? Many young people shouldn't even be playing online games, since they are most likely being influnenced by the violence (even though RuneScape isn't that violent), language that people say by evading the chat filter, and such. Does anybody agree with me on this?

This is why I am a member most of all, even though you get updates, too many immature people are messing up the game, why? They don't understand the game as well as we do. And they are most likely the people that ask free items for example, which annoys the hell out of me and others.

i can see where your coming from but it would be kinda hard for jagex to impose an age limit as theres no way of verifying someones age and arent computer games (on the whole) for kids? (as apposed to adults) and just because there asking for free items doesnt make them young!

Well, by young I mean, not just 12 year olds or under, just younger people, its rather hard to say, but you may get my point, just people who act like young people, not really understanding the game. Its hard to type.

And I'm not saying that all young people ask for free items are the only people who do that.

me mental2 is getting what I was trying to say, some people on RuneScape are very immature, and only if people were more mature, this game would be a better place. Examples are like people who cuss out other people, scammers/website scammers, people that ask for free stuff sometimes (some of them may be too lazy to get something, other people may be scamming you out of something), or some people that ask others for free money (a person asked me for 50k free today.)

not all scammers are stupid. they have main accounts and create noob accounts for scamming. if all the accounts coming from the same ip gets punished as well, a scammer will think twice.

scamming is too rampant and is ruining the game.
