I hate autoers alot!I was alot happier wen the only major autoing problem was wc autoers.now its the growing problem of mining autoers!? i rely on coal for my profits and the only truely good non-member's mining area that isnt too crowded is the mines at lumbridge swamp!and now there are autoers takeing all the coal!!this is unfair and runescape should either get more mods or find better programming to avoid this. If you ask me, runescape seems to have very little control over the autoer problem!i know they are doing the best they can but enough is enough! :x

Yeah really, I think that Jagex should have like a day were Jagex MOD's and RuneScape MOD's comment to banning these files, then do something else besides crashing the fleching/runecrafting economy by making that stupid *pure* essence which is the worst idea Jagex had since they decised to make snakeskin ranging armor!!!

Runescape never made any improvements tocatching autoers. They just come out with those updates to scare the autoers and make them stop. If you ask me, it does not seem to be working very well.

If I were a mod I would be checking every Runescape related forum for pics as to where these auto'rs dwell. Then I would go their and definatly report it myself. It's total bull. Even magics were gettin bad till one of the updates at least that lowerd :?

I do agree, autoers are becomming very annoying and they are destorying the game. Jagex is doing new things to stop autoers, but they only work for a short period of time. When there is an update all the autoer has to do is update its code and it will adapt to the update. There is really not much of a defense to it but then to make more player moderators, and give the player moderators the ability to temp ban an account until Jagex can review the account and decide if a ban is necessary.

I don't really worry about the autoers that much I usually merchant when I'm on..and I only worry about the massive amount of autoers when I'm training a skill or just doing something for a quest..and I need certain things that autoers are doing like cutting yews..:P

What kind of "code" do the auto programs use?

Maybe if Jagex knew what type of code it is they can make some kind of firewall that relates with Runescape. And that would clear out a lot of the auto'rs that bought or downloaded the program off the net. But it would leave some because of the people that know how to make the auto program.

I'm not sure if thats possible but its worth a try :?

There are so many macroer programs they probably couldn't even block them all if only they knew some of the websites and autoing tech they use they could probably cut down the number of autoers significantly..:P

You mean worse.

It's progressively gotten worse since the introduction of pure rune ess. I almost didn't care about the rune ess autoers. Honestly, ANYONE can get rune ess. And no one of a decent mining lvl goes there to train. I'm not saying it's okay to do, but it was less intrusive.

When you're trying to mine, someone else can get your coal rock. Someone else can keep getting the yew logs while you only get 1 or 2. When I go on a f2p world and behind Lumby castle, it's insane! It's making things worse for f2p users. I think this could affect their business. If you have people signing up to play RS and then realising that there are so many cheaters about they will do one of two things:

- Join the team of macroers by downloading a macro programme.
- Quit. Which will then cause lower numbers of p2p memberships.

They need to develop a more serious approach to this problem rather than just saying "We have advanced technology, but we can't tell you about it or the macroers will figure us out!". I understand that logic, but when I don't see any difference in macroers, I can't help but not believe them.

bout time som one agreed!runescape really shuld be doing somthin about this! they shuld be doin alot more than just sayin , "oh, we'll just keep them from usin cheats on the rune ess by makin pure ess." well hello jagex! wat about our coal which most of us rely on!?wat about our yews!? hav ya even thought of that!? :evil:
