Post subject:  Nat crafters ULTIMATE guide

Nat crafting is reputed as one of (if not the best) way to get money, and you don't need very high levels to do it.

At 44 RuneCraft, you will make approx 270k an hour.
At 50 Ruencraft, you can get a large pouch and make around 300k an hour.
At 75 RuneCraft, you get a giant pouch and can make (estimate) 340-350k an hour (if someone HAS 75 RuneCraft and actually know this amount please tell me).
At 91 RC you can make 700k+ an hour, as you get double nats.

There are several methods of RuneCrafting, and I shall outline those known to me. If you know any more please tell me and I'll add them.

1. Glory Ammies.

Get a large number of glory ammies (10 is good). Go to the abyss, craft your nature runes, and then rub your glory ammy to go back to Edgeville. Repeat the process

2. Ancient teleports. Go through the abyss, craft your natures, and then use Padewwa Teleport which takes you to Edgeville dungeon. Go to Edgeville Bank and repeat.

3. Duelling rings: Same process as glory ammies, but you don't take your glory with you in the abyss. You take a duelling ring instead. When you have crafted your natures, rub your Duelling ring and go to Castle Wars, get your glory out and go to Edgeville. Repeat.

4. General Store: I would not recommend this unless you are low level, cannot obtain Glory ammies or for some reason you cannot go through the abyss.

In your inventory carry: Nature Runes, Coins (around 3x the number of essence you're carrying) and Noted ess.

Go to the General Store on Karamja and sell as many ess as it will take to fill your inventory, then buy them back. This will unnote them. Go to the altar, and then, keeping the nats in your inventory, go back to the General store and repeat.

5. Shilo Village. This takes tooooooo loooonnnng* so I would advise against it. All you do is go to the altar, and bank at Shilo Village.

Pouches:

Pouches are the organs of abyssal creatures which somehow bend the laws of time and space and allow a certain number of rune essences into a pouch which could normally only hold one.

Small Pouch: 1+ RuneCraft, holds 3 essence. Obtained free from the Zamorak Mage after the Zamorak Mage Miniquest, also given by the Dark Mage in the middle of the abyss if you lose yours.

Medium Pouch: 25+ RuneCraft, holds 6 essence. Obtained by killing Abyssal Creatures

Large Pouch: 50+ RuneCraft, holds 9 essence. Obtained by killing Abyssal creatures.

Giant Pouch: 75+ RuneCraft, holds 12 essence. Obtained by killing abyssal creatures.

Remember you can only have one of each pouch at a time.

Getting pouches:

As pouches are non tradeable\buyable, you have to kill your own Abyssal Creatures for them. To do this, go to the abyss with:

43 Prayer!
Initiate helm
Monk Robe Set
Glory ammy\Holy symbol
Any other items that give prayer bonus.
A Dragon Weapon
Cammy Tele Runes
Normal\Super attack and strength pots
And fill the rest of your inventory with Prayer Potion (4)*.

Then just go to the abyss, turn on Protect from Melee, and find a spot with lots of Abyssal Leeches and kill them all. I recommend leeches because I find they have as good a drop rate as any other Abyssal Creature, although I'm not sure about this. Leeches also only have 10 hp so you can kill them quickly.

Abyss Guide:

The Abyss is a dangerous place, and I would recommend not using it unless you have 50+ Defence.

In the abyss, take:

An inexpensive, unimportant helm (I use Mithril).

Either an axe or a pickaxe, depending on if your Woodcutting or your Mining is higher (Once more, I use Mithril).

Full Green Dragonhide (You could use a different type, but Green is cheap, and easy to replace, so it doesn;t matter if you lose it. And believe me, EVERY nat crafter dies sometime.

Glory Amulet (If using the Glory Amulet method, if not then use a defence Amulet).

Duelling ring: Everyone will forgot to bring a charged glory\Tele Runes sometime, so when this happens you can tele to Castle Wars and pick them up.

Boots of Lightness: For letting you run longer.

A light, throwaway shield, preferably one that is resistant to mage because I have been Abyssal Pked 6 times, all of which involved mage and 5 of which were mainly mage(I use anti Dragonfire shield, but only because I can't use the Elemental one, which several professional nat crafters believe is best.)

Cammy tele runes: For avoiding Unprofessional pkers that don't bother teleblocking you.

In the abyss, you get an inner rim and an outer rim. When you first get there, you will find yourself in the outer rim. There are several monsters around the outer rim:

Lvl 41 Abyssal leeches: So many legends about these but the truth is they aren't pure strength. I believe they are quantity over quality, because, although very accurate, they can't hit above 2.

Lvl 59 Abyssal Guardians: All rounders in combat, but they have a range attack that they use occasionally that can hit up to 13s.

Lvl 81 Abyssal Walkers: Inaccurate, and can't hit above 2. However, great defence, and loads of hp.

ROund the outer rim, there are obstacles you can go through to get to the inner rim. They are based on skills and the better you are at the skill the more chance you have of passing the obstacle. Cont on nxt

Abyssal Pkers

I, like all Nat Crafters, hate these pathetic noobs. They can't beat a target unless it is armourless, weaponless, prayerless, foodless, and potionless. They pk people for their Glory Amulets.

Now, there are tips to avoid them, and what to do if they catch you.

1. Use a world like World 18 or World 2, where there are generally large wars going on in Low level Edgeville Wilderness, and they will ignore you. The ones that don't often will not put too much effort into killing you because they won't get much for killing you, and so most won't entangle\snare you or anything.

2. Keep auto-retaliate off. If you see someone that could attack you (obviously make sure they aren't a nat crafter), then attack a skeleton and turn away so it keeps attacking you. The Abyssal Wilderness is non multi combat, and this will give you the choice to run away at your choice of time.

3. If the noob...I mean Abyssal Pker in question has already bound you before you can attack a Skeleton, teleport. Don't wait for him to teleblock you.

4. If all looks at an end, an Abyssal Noob has you cornered, and he's happily Ice Blitzing and Teleblocking you, DROP YOUR POUCHES! After that, if you still have time, drop your Amulet of Glory. Most Pkers predict this and will let you get to low health and then stop attacking you to let you pick up your stuff and then kill you. Do not fall for this. Drop your stuff, and if he stops, pick up your pouches and drop them immediately afterwards, rotating through your pouches as you do this, which resets the time you have to collect them once you die. For instance:

Pick up large pouch, then drop
Pick up Medium Pouch, then dop
Pick up Glory Ammy, then drop,
Pick up Small Pouch, then drop.

Once the Abyssal Noob kills you, make sure your respawn point is Fally. Go to the bank, withdraw an air staff, and a law and a glory ammy. Tele to edgeville and telegrab your glory ammy, then bank it. Then rush in and

Grab your pouches. With luck the Abyssal Pker will ignore you as he knows he has nothing to gain from killing you this time and it would just be a waste of runes to attack you. (Pouches are non tradeable so he can't get them from killing you).

5. If you do escape an abyssal pker once, I would advise that you hop world.

Any questions on the abyss I will answer if you ask them to me.

ABYSS GUIDE CONT:

Sorry this is here but I ran out of space on both of the above posts.

The obstacles are:

Eyes-Distract-Thieving
Tendrils-Cut-Woodcutting
Rocks-Mine-Mining
Gap-Squeeze through-Agility
Boil-Burn Down (ew)-Firemaking

Each time you succeed on an obstacle you get 25 xp in that skill (I found this out when, during a nat run, I obtained 79 Woodcutting).

At 75, you can make 500k an hour.

Also, you should put that you could also take Ectophial or Elf crystal for quick escaping. And, I just take some good armor (rune\dragon) into the abyss, and I usually get all 3 pouches only using like 3 lobs. And you should get some pics.
