Post subject:  Autoers.... Go AWAY!

Ive recently come back from a massive runescape break and returned to my sacred yew spot below crafting guild and I find myself surrounded by 14, yes 14! autoers. This is beggining to tick me off. They are ruining the game for those of us who actually spend our time chopping down the yews watching the screen. Ive looked through the forums and see outrageous amounts of yews being sold, example: one guy was selling 113k yews. I think Jagex has to put a stop to this NOW. If I were a member I would definitley be writing a long essay and putting it on the rants section. I would like to see peoples opinion on this topic so just leave a comment, thank you.

yeh i agree with you auto-ers suck and if ure in a spot with an auto-er u may aswell leave cause u probs aint gonna get what ure trying to get. its a lousy and effortless way to get ure levels and you dont get the same glory as you would when normally training... i admit to auto-ing on rsc but stopped a day later because its better to get your own levels than it is let a program.

Lovely how you contributed to the wonder world of RunescapeAuto(classic). Even if only for a day (as you claim).

i k 0 u, I suggest you not say that here. We follow Runescape rules on our forums, and you admit to breaking one. Not wise, but I'll let you off with friendly reminder.

Anyways, I'd think Runescape's autoing population since the two biggest RS Cheating sites and communities, Kaitnieks and Sythe, both recently disappeared. Anyways, if you're sure they are autoing, just keep reporting them. I don't think there's a 60 second time limit for Macro reports. If you have a friend thats a Player Moderator, ask if they could come over and help out. Sorry, autoers ruin the game for all of us, but there's little we can do. :(

Yes, you never know. Generally I would think it is impossible to auto in RS now because of all the random events.

14 autoers? Well obviously, since as soon as something's a slight inconvienence to you, the natural reaction is to assume they're cheating/.

Not everyone that looks like theyre doing the same thing are autoers. Ive been accused of autoing many times simply because I dont talk and I follow a certain pattern of doing something, but Ive never autoed. Theres no clear way to really tell if someone is autoing or not, and just because youre not getting (in this case the logs) isnt a reason to assume they are. People will always try and get better in a game, whether it means autoing or not. Theyre going to exist and theres nothing you can do about it so I would get over it.

Some people just don't like to talk or have public chat set to off. And Jagex tried their best a while ago by banning so many members for autoing.

Yep, I've seen lots of level 3s that looks very suspiciously like autoers in that same area. They all had a same word in the username followed by a different number at the end.

This really is just a duplicate post. If you think someone's autoing, report them. That's all you can do.

I despise people who automatically assume that just because people don't talk to them it means they're autoers.
