The skill, summon indeed a great skill used in many difrent games with difrent classes to it.

Well, summoning is where you summon a creature to have it fight by your side.

Well, this thread is about "How to summon" meaning, how do you think you'll be able to summon in runescape?

Ideas:

get a certen mixture of items and be able to cast the spell to summon the creature that is linked from the items.

Example: Red spider eggs, limpwroots, level 20 summon to summon a red spider.

Idea 2:

If its going for the necromancer aproach, then burying the right creatures bones along with a right item.

Example: Bat bones, frog legs = gaint bat.

Idea 3:

could be like slayer, given a task to kill a certen amount of creatures compaired to your summon level and then you'll be able to summon that creature.

Example: Task, kill 100 chickens, level 1 summon.

Post your comments and suggestions, ideas about summoning. summoning in runescape is the dummest suggestion ive heard sorry.. but adding summons to runescape would lower the average age of players to like.. 12.. i know if summoning ever comes out i will seroisly reconsider how i spend my free time..

Lol, doubtfull minds, i'm not one one suggesting runescape adds summon. Runescape said that's what they're gonna add this year or in the future. Necomancer has very little to do with magic, summoning the undead is class based in most if not all games. I honestly dont see anything wrong with summoning. it gives nobody an advantage unless they train it hard like everyone should. It would only help in multi combat zones. Why do you think summoning would be stupid?

Why do you think summoning would be stupid? because one thing many people like about runescape is it apeals to all ages.. its very well balanced.. if you can call creatures from the dead or something like that.. its like... a kiddish idea.. i gaurentee you will lose alot of older players alot of mature players.. which ingeneral will hurt the game of runescape and jagex. summoning just simply doesnt belong in runescape.. period..

i'm not following, summoning isnt childish... i creatures of Everwuest are extreamlyy rich and have billions of players. And most people would think no blood, no back talk... and the amount of "Scammers" would be childish. If summoning is childish then so is magic and prayer. "There are no gods, magic doesnt exist" doesnt sound like a mature game to me:P I must say Runescape finnaly added a little gore to the frenkinstrne or w/e it was quest.

well i thought bunny ears and santa hats were childish. but whatever... we will see when the time comes. I'm not going to say that the skill will come out good... but.. who knows? And you nor your friends can say if jagex will release somethong good or not from the view of other games. It could be something totaly difrent from what you are thinking.
