| Post subject: | Why Runescape? |
Ok, this thread is directed to runescape and why we choose to play it! - Lets start! First of all, Runescape is everything, a godly game indeed, the staff members are loaded with money and so are the players! There are ussaly allways 100k players and some people wonder "Why".. Well Heres "Why". Runescape has the best qualitys of the best games that were ever released and i dont mean ripped them off! For example, the runescape world revolvs around survival and life. It has many difrent features that Zelda, final fantasy, everquest. Extreamly popular games in one. The resault is obvious, Players, Players, Players. I think jagex/runescape should be proud to own such a great game. - You might of seen people say "Runescape sucks blah blah" Well if you havent noticed, Most of those people are FPS(First person shooter) fans more then RPG(Role playing games) fans. Alot of people think FPS games are better then RPG games, and in some cases thats true but you have to look at the difrence in the games. - Most MMORPG(Massive multiplayer online roll playing games) that i played was for abou a month. Runescape i will allways player forever, there is a never ending amount of adventuring to do. - BTW, dont get me wrong about zelda, everquest, final fantasy. Those are great games that i'll play and love:P because they are totaly difrent games then runescape. - Runescape takes an huge amount of difrent things from the world of gaming and adds a new flare to them, making them what they werent into something cool. I'm extreamly happy to be a runescape member and have friends in the runescape world. |

Im an FPS and RPG fan. I think it's the desire to be good that drives most people, without the rank, it wouldn't be very popular at all. |

Yes, but there are alot of people who only love FPS. Many people want to rank up in kill counts then ovarall total in ingame skills. In other words they like to show there tactics and kills rather then levels and quest points. two totaly difrent worlds, two difrent types of ranks. |

I choose and play Runescape, because it was the only game that i could play for free for as long as i wanted and i could have the choice to pay only $5 a month to get tons of extra features. Also newfeatures are added once or twice a week.But the main reason why i play is to try and be better than my friends

I tink I've spent less on it so far then I would have if I'd bought a game off the shelf, and it's the game I've spent more on than any other, I've been playing about.. 5 months? Thats.. $40

Well, those that like MMOFPS and MMORPG there is a game of them combined. MMORPFPSG: Massive multiplayer online roll playing first person shooter game. Call outpost online, i think it was released by E-games(Unsure) but i use to play it all the time... untill i messed up my snipers stats>.<. Anyway, i think the game is still in beta and is realy fun. But i prefer Runescape. |

good way to think of it, a videogame here in england is £40-ish and members is £3.20 per month. Ive been a member for about 5 months so ive nly spent £16!

Reddre..I play Outpost too, until it was messed up by their new "big update" and when everyone could get millions and millions as they want. Then they reseted it to a week ago which totally annoys everybody. There's somany bugs in the game..that made me wanna stop playing it. I worked so long to get a sniper license myself! I think the game is kinda good except that the creators NEVER went to the forums to close spam threads(I made a spam thread myself since it's so boring  ), ban cheaters, read suggestions or answer questions. Never.

Yes, but they also have like 10 other MMORPG games. When outpost came out it took forever to get money. I'm not sure of how things turned out but it realy doesnt matter. Runescape better never reset:P |

What i have notice is most the people that "hate" runescape because they never got use to it. Like I was talking to a buddy of mine in real life. I asked him "have you ever played runescape??" and his reply was this "Yes I did for a month I hated it, such a stupid game." I then reply "hmmm, okay what made you hate it so much?" He said something about how he could never get past lvl 20 or something like that and it was to hard to get money. So thats what I have to say about most ppl that hate runescape, they just never got it.

i agree that members is extremely good value £3.20 a month x 12 months = 38 poundsish. thats 12 months of excitement, rather than buyin a £40 video FPS or summat, that can only last like 2 months max, (if ur a good player). the only game that is worth ne price tag is in my opinion is zelda wind waker, an amazing game |
