Today i was training with the fire giants in the waterfall when a strange plant apeared. I didn't pick the fruit and he attacked me. He poisened me, but i had anti potion with me and i was fighting him with my halberd. I was standing behind a chair so he couldn't hit me. I was fighting for about 10-15 minutes and he had 3/4 of his hp left and in one moment he disapeared :S. He just left the combat and was away. Why did he disapear into nothing? I wanted to kill him

For most random event things, you have to melee them to death. If you dont, they'll disappear on you, kinda like that strange plant. |

Thats strange. I have never seen a strange plant dis-appear while fighting it.

If it can't hit you, it'll surely disappear. Same with ranging, if it can't hit you, it'll just go way. |

I saw this guy melee one close up in catherby once and the same thing happened, he got it down to 1/2 health and it just disapeared. People kept dropping fish under him so he could eat, and he couldn't finish it cause it just disappeared. |

I had that happen once..I was fighting a plant for fun in a bank and I got it to like half health then it just disappeared...wasted all that food and antipoisons for nothing.

Well it's kinda obvious. The plants disappear when they can't hit you-They disappear when they're idle for a moment, like when you run away, its the same. |

yup vengeance is right,they drop nothing I killed one with close iban blasts (not behind something) BTW: they got tones of hp |
