Runescape Bits & Bytes :: View topic - What is happening to Runescape!?!?

Last night saw a record 42,500 simultaneous players! As a result a few of our servers were getting low on spare bandwidth. To make sure all these extra players doesn't cause the game to lag we have just purchased some extra bandwidth at the busiest locations, so it should be working much better now. We'll also continue to keep an eye on the bandwidth use to make sure we always have enough.

One of the reasons why I quit. There's never any place to do anything anymore. It's just too crowded to train...

I remember the good ol' days when there were not as many noobs. I wish RS was still small.

Now there's 100K people on at certain points of ALMOST EVERY DAY !! Runescape is really getting popular !!

ya this really.. annoys me alot.. its because jagex decided to start advertising on game sites like miniclip and addictinggames ect. its just soo annoying having this many people on now..

Yeah, I remember back when I was a noob in RSC(I Quit for 11 months if your wondering why my levels are low) and I never heard anyone beg, and rarely any scamming back then. I asked questions at times but that was how far I would go. But then when I came back to RS2 after 11 months, someone got me killed by chaos druids telling me they were good and the wine of zammorak was Special. I lost full Bronze(Which was alot at the time fro me) and it was all smithed, but I got back together and now I am like this, with spare money aswell...not really but you know what I mean. Well went a little off-topic there. Well yeah, with new advertising, they might be making money, but they are getting modern intelligent players angry, because they are inviting alot of Nooby people. Runescape has changed, and I don't think we can do anything about it.
