I don't think Jagex is ignoring rangers. They have been making other updates lately. Some which have been for all three classes of combat, some which haven't been to combat at all.

Agree with the first post.
@ 2nd post: if you're thinking about the newly arrived trimmed stuff, that's a laugh. They're unuseable.

hmm.. i don't think ranges have had an update JUST for ranging..

but there have been updates for all 3 classes like dave said

The ogre training area was a good update 4 rangers... but i don't think jagex is gonna make anything good for rangers in the near future.

Why does it matter?

Why do you want updates for range anyhow? We have pretty much all we need. After the Seercull Bow update there's not much more bows we can have. All bows are custom made in Fletching after all and it's not like Jagex can add another type of tree and 2 more types of bows. You should be rather thankful that you have a variety of bows to work with. I'm not going to ask for more.

range can already take down melle and mage if you are highe nough lvl, it doesnt need to be stronger

No offence, but Rangers seem to take whatever they are given as a crap update.

"There are no training areas just for rangers". - Combat Training Camp, Zogre Caves

"Ranged is underpowered!" - No, it isnt. The point of ranged is to attack from long distances swiftly. Is that not what ranged allows you to do? If rangers are to become more powerful, they will need heavier arrows, meaning the weapon will be slow, meaning Rangers will (yet again) complain at everything they are given. :roll:

I don't know about others, but I don't demand new weapons. The mages haven't gotten a new killing-spell in a while, and the d2h is crap anyway, so I don't count it, so no new weapons for melee either. They could however give us better-defence armors. I still think the arrows could do more dmg, but I'm not gonna kill anyone if we don't get us (and we won't need heavier arrows, they could modify the dmg formula to make rune arrows give say 1-2 more max hit or idk, I use crystal and bronze anyway soo.. but point being, it's very possible without introducing new arrows). Also I don't like the teasing with the new set of d hide armors with trimming.

About thet Zogre caves, I don't know if they're good or not, but I don't think they're a lot better than Greater demons, ogres (or whatever the creatures are, west of Yanille) and moss giants as they're all fairly good at their lvls. If my assumptions are correct, it's a useless update.
