I just thought i would throw in an idea that might be cool.

I think there should be a runescape so we'll have

Runescape
Runescape classic
Runescape Battle

Like back in the day when runescape was just a morpg where you could kill people and forum clans(i was in thugs).

What i mean about kill people, i mean ANYWHERE like when Runescape was new.. you just couldent kill in towns.

It could have a rs2 style based then a rsc one. The idea is to survive from your enemys and forum groups with your friends and travel runescape.

Yes, you can do this in the wild... but the wilderness looks like well a wilderness. This idea gives a real world effect to it.

Like back then, you could switch your pvp on and off and you can travel runescape un harmed or be a killer.

This idea is just something i miss and will allways remember.

By the way this was around when the first rune weapon EVER came out:)

yes, i was a player of runescape back then -.-

at the beginning of runescape when it first came out yes but latter on down the road i beleave they put a stop to it and interduced dueling i think i dont really remember :twisted:

You wear your full rune for like some seconds and you get killed or robbed by a pker/thief ...

And yes you could kill everywhere but not in city limits, then they added dueling and then just had wild:/

I can hardly survive in wild but it was so easy to get teams in the citys:) and clans forum them selfs right then and there:)

I cryed when i lost my runelong wuahhaha... thats what makes a game good:/

erm rune weapons came a while after they got rid of killing.

also, i dont ever remember the ability to switch off killing :?

I don't think Jagex can mantain and actively update 2 versions of RuneScape, while still making routine security updates to RuneScape-Classic...two verions are fine enough for me. It would be too confusing with another version of RuneScape...

back on topic: I'm a defensive style player, I don't like playing too aggressive games. So this current set up suits me fine. They couldn't have it so it only happened on certain servers, jagex would, in essence, have to run three games, which would put more strain on them, require more staff, and would probably increase the price of members.

Also, since when did they update RSC? I thought the whole idea was that they would never do it.

The reason the wilderness is there is to kill people. probably an option that would suit you better is if they re drew the map so that there was a section of wilderness between each town - you could avoid it if you wanted but would have to go around a long way. They could make it fairer in that case by placing a bank in each town.

Yes, this would be a good Idea but lag would be enormous. And RuneScape Needs to add a lot more servers which is like 10k a month I bet for them a month ALREADY. So I dont know but its a goood idea.
