Ok, well here are some thoughts i think would be good for rs.. Post your thoughts, comments, questions, suggestions etc.

Character Personalization Update:

More Hair, beard styles, weight classes, more clothing, option of tattoos and footwear.

Hair: Ok well not much to say but i think we need more detailed hair styles, right now most of them kinda suck. I think jagex can improve on this.

Beards: Ok well same as hair, more styles, more detailed.

Weight Class: Your thinking, thin and fat right? i dont quite mean it that way.. I mean more we should be able to make our character look like a hero or legend, allow him to have actual muscles and stuff like that. Nothing like the sims with some fat guy walking around with a hairy beer gut, yuck.

Tattoos: Nothing fancy, nothing overly appauling either. I mean just simple designs of the gods of rs, or other things, make them more noticable than just a spec of pixels on an area of the body.

Footwear: I think it would be good to see an improvement here, im sick of my feet looking like flat pancakes and stuff like that.

Overall Character Improvement: I think rs characters need a face lift, alot of rs monsters have better details.

One last thing, i dont wanna hear anyone saying, like omg this has been mentioned so many times. I would rather you post how the idea could be improved.

I'm kinda sick of these clown feet too. At the very least we should be able to get Yrsa to change our shoe shape as well as color.

And yeah, all that other stuff would be awesome.

Clown feet... oh yes! I hate those!

I'm not sure all of those other ideas would work though. You'd probably have to stick your face against the screen to notice the tattoos lol.

I think it would be good for them to add this also. I remember back in RSC where there was only so many vairations of apperance, almost everyone looked alike. Now in RS2 they made it a little less, but it could use more. Weight classes would be pretty nice, tattos would be interesting, but I'm not sure if those were around in the timeset of the game.

Good ideas though. Suggest them to Jagex after they get fixed up a bit and hopefully they will take it into consideration.

They need to work on the feet a bit more, but i think that's what they did with the whole "boots" thing.

Europe

Pre-Christian Germanic, Celtic and other central and northern European tribes were often heavily tattooed, according to surviving accounts. The Picts were famously tattooed (or scarified) with elaborate dark blue woad (or possibly copper for the blue tone) designs. Julius Ceasar described these tattoos in Book V of his Gallic Wars (54 BC).

Ahmad ibn Fadlan also wrote of his encounter with the Scandinavian Rus tribe in the early 10th century, describing them as tattooed from "fingernails to neck" with dark blue "tree patterns" and other "figures." During the gradual process of Christianization in Europe, tattoos were often considered remaining elements of paganism and generally legally prohibited.

According to Robert Graves in his book The Greek Myths, tattooing was common amongst certain religious groups in the ancient Mediterranean world, which may have contributed to the prohibition of tattooing in Leviticus.

They need to offer better pants. They should make it so you can choose your pants, but then design the pants a certain way, like rips, or dirtspots etc. Same would apply to shirt, of course.

I like the idea about weight classes. It'd add a whole lot more diversity. I'm not sure how well tattoos would show up on the body though. I think another good update would be eye colour.

Tatoos just...wouldn't be noticable really, other than that i don't care my characters pretty much just red with some black always has been cause i just wear armour over it 99 percent of the time anyway.

Tattoos wouldnt be noticeable, as others have said. Our chars arent all that big, and tattoos would just be a one or two pixel square.

New clothes, feet, etc would be nice, seeings as our chars are the only thing we can always see, it would make sense to upgrade the graphics of these before places people rarely go to like port sarim penisuala *-)

Little tatoos like roses and anchors wouldn't show, but larger designs, like flames from the wrists or geometric face patterns like the half giants in Dungeon Siege II have should work. Maybe some full body paint too, like paint one half of your face and the arm on that side blue

Yo all runescapers i do think that runescape needs :!: more clothing and stuff there. i want my character to smile sometimes :D or get angry :x or wink :wink: and i want :idea: on my head and i wanna :oops: when i see a girl and i want a pair of 8) and i want FREE CLOTHS CHANGE and free haircuts!!!! (ps: can u tell me what the makeover mage does :shock: )
