umm can you put more into this post, seems kinda really pointless right now becuz everyone reply with yes, no, yes, no.. etc. explain why it would be a good idea to add a furnace there, and other things, what requirements to use it, as in a quest etc? will it be free to use? Where exactly in the dwarven mine etc. |

it would not require any quests and it would be f2p. it should be right next to the anvil. or maybe they could make another anvil right in the mining guild and put the furnace there. and they could have a shop right next to those things that buy all smithable items and a bank. that way you wouldnt have to walk as much. the game would be so much easier this way. |

hmm well see thats the thing, that would be too easy. The game is not hard at all, just time consuming, i would rather it time consuming than easy, cuz if it was easy like that, i would be 99 in everything and done every possible thing on rs. Then the game would be boring. ![]() |

I have to admit that would be mighy useful right next to the anvils and general store down there. Power smithing would be very easy there. A little too easy. People have suggested this in the past and Jagex has ignored it, probably for that exact reason. So I say no. |

i believe one of the gods adressed this suggestion long ago when they graced us with their words of wisedom... *goes off in search of the exact letter...* edit: found it the answer was provided by guthix himself in the 16th edition of the god letters. |

Convenience breeds a lot of macroers, sadly. It'd just be too easy then. You gotta work for your levels. |

The closest furnace to dwarven mines is keldagrim, if you're f2p, just bring a bit of extra cash with you and leave 2 spaces free |

Smithing as a skill would become useless as everyone would have high levels. |

I dont think it would be a great idea either, because if everyone had level 99 smithing then the prices of rune would drop... |
