Wow the way this works is amazing.
Ok yesterday I was in draynor (id been farming) and this guy with an abby whip came and said he was having a drop party (d weapons, cash etc.)
I followed him and he took me to the lumby dungeon where he bought me a candle and then took me in. I followed he gave me a lobbie for the creature thats in the wall, then said it was in the next room. We kept going and then my candle went out. He 'tried' to trade me but i was eaten by bugs and died.
I lost my prince outfit, my jester hat, purple boots and heaps of seeds.
The sucker got teh seeds and I can get the otehr stuff back, fortunately I didn't have my rune and warrior helm on :P

rofl. I wonder if it was one of the people with me when I started to give people torches and tinderboxes in lumby dungeon XD told them to light them than BANG! they died XD

Wow... that's a low trick. I once fell on something like that, I was thieving master farmer for seeds when a guy just come and trade me a karambwuan. I got my hp until 3 and then banked without the guy noticed and ate the karambuan. ( I refer to the one that poisons you) Gave that guy just some prayer exp. Well that shows us that we must be always alert of what other ppl say. Or just ignore them 8)

That goes to show what the runescape world is becomming. People just can't seem to learn to play the game right, they can't find ways to work a little and earn their items.

You should never follow a person you don't trust into an area that is dangerous or new to you. This might happen.

Sorry to hear it happened though. Next time don't be as gullable to people's offers.

Good thing I prefer to look good when Im farming over having armour, otherwise I would have lost my rune :P I don't go to Lumby Dungeon much and didn't know I would get eaten by bugs and die (rofl it does sound funny:P) oh well it's not as if its that hard to get my stuff back, though I might tell everyone of it before they fall for it cause no ones gunna fall for one in the wildy but at lumbridge you can't get pked so you trust more...

Ya, I generally don't trust anyone in runescape. If it is too good to be true...it probably is.

This doesn't seem like a scam, it seems more like you wanting a reason for being naive enough to follow someone you don't know into a dungeon.
