Well i've been farming recently and after yanking up a load of tarrs which i planted with super compost..i've noticed im getting a hell of a lot less than before. I used to get 8-11 when using super compost. Now im getting 3-6 WITH SUPER COMPOST?! Now this isn't a fluke i've done this a load of times on all the patches. I mean hell if i can get as low as 3 with super compost what's it going to be like with normal? 1-3 herbs? Now i have a high(ish) herblore level and of course i don't want it super easy because i worked for my levels. But for something that takes 75 mins (?) to grow and for a skill where 90 percent of the stuff you grow is useless..i don't think this was a wise or good move at all. Figured i'd ask and see if anyone else had heard anything. |

Haven't heard anything about it but it wouldn't surprise me knowing jagex, farming is already hard enough to make any money with, now it'll just cost us money. |

I used to grow 6-9 watermelons now i only 3-5 using super?? and i am only getting 2 ranners using regular!! and whats up with the new farming futur??? can us store to bank what u do with the new green dude |

Meh. I just hit 54 farming and need another 16k to lvl up to 55. Im wondering if i should bother now it looks like im not the only one. Guess i'll go ahead..i need the skill total points anyway. -.- Thanks jagex. You just killed off 90 percent of the remaining farmers im sure. And there wasn't many of em left anyway. |

This is bad. All herbs usually yield a minimum of 5 herbs. Damit, I just bought 200 ranner seeds for 15k each. This is going to be a bad buy. Wonder what else in farming had been changed with the introduction of the leprechaun. |

this was on the rs forums. yes, jagex lowered the amount of herbs you could grow with herb seeds. |

Why would they lower it. I don't know about lower herblore lvlers but i didn't level up very fast even with those herbs. The very least they could do is make herb seeds more easy to get because right now it's pretty rare to steal a herb seed. |

I don't care much for Super Compost. I just plant my herbs, go do something for about an hour, then come back later. If they die, they die, if they live, they live. I don't really care if they live or not, just as long as I get some Herbs and Farming exp. It really doesn't matter, does it? |

Of course it matters. A skill has to have a point. Or no one will train it or use it. Why on earth would someone bother putting down herbs..waiting for an hour and half (ish) to get 1 or 2 herbs? EVEN if they do go away and do something else. It's just a waste of time going to pick them! I wouldn't CARE if herbs was lowered if they increased the chance to steal a herb seed. Now they've just messed the skill up completly. Once i hit 60 i give up on it. Wont be training it in a long long time. As it stands im getting stupid amounts of tomatos and next to nothing usefull. Yet there fine with anyone being able to sell off uni? Makes no sense you'd make more selling uni than seeds cause there easier to get. There for faster. And to whoever asked..you can make super compost by putting in melons. |

So far since the update the minimum has still been 5 for me. I really can't see any reason to have changed it. |

I don't check my herbs either, if they die, they die. I use super compost and i get a min of 5, got 10 ranarrs 5 min ago, so I assume that's a max, 11 maybe. I did it once without compost and I got 4, that's the only time I've gotten 4. Besides, super compost gives more exp than regular/no compost afaik. |
