Post subject:  "Spirits of the Elid" Quest Guide

Hope it's understandable for ya'll. 8)

Spirits of the Elid
The people in the desert village of Nardah have a problem: their town well has dried up and any water they try to bring back to the town from the river mysteriously disappears before they can get it back. The villagers suspect they have been cursed in some way. Can you unravel what is going on and save the village?

Start point:
The village of Nardah, Southeast of Pollnivneach.
To start:
Speak to Awusah the mayor of Nardah

Minimum requirements:
Level 33 Magic
Level 37 Ranged
Level 37 Mining
Level 37 Thieving
Be able to defeat three Level 75 monsters

Quest length:
Medium

Members only:
Yes

Items needed: knife, telegrab runes, pickaxe, and weapons for each of the melee styles (slash, stab, & crush), bow and a couple arrows, a light source of some kind, water skins, needle and thread, rope, armor and food to battle 3 level 75 monsters.

Walkthrough:
First gear up for the desert and head through Shanty pass and either take the rug to Pollnivneach and then the southern rug there to Nardah or cross the bridge towards Uzer and head south along the River Elid, you'll come across Nardah just a little southeast of Pollnivneach.

Head into the large building on the east side of the small village and talk to the mayor to start the quest, After talking to the mayor you'll have to figure out what is causing this curse of theirs. grab his shoes near the door and head north to speak with the elder about the water spirits and how they might be causing it all, he'll give you a scroll with a song you might want to read tells how to beat a monster you'll be facing and what you need to do next.

Head to the other large building near the just west of the elder's house and search the cupboards for a robe top and bottom use a needle and thread on both pieces to make them wearable, then telegrab the ancestral key sitting on the table to one side. now get ready for battle and remember the robes, rope, pickaxe, key, and weapons for the 3 attack styles then head north beyond Uzer to the end of the River Elid where you'll find a cave and a root, use the rope on the root and your in the cave.

Open the first door with the key then head towards the 3 small rooms off to one side and be ready for battle vs. a level 75 golem at each door; their colors are black, grey, and white.
Here’s how to kill each of them
Black - crush attacks
Grey - slash attacks
White - stab attacks

After you beat each one go into the room it was guarding and clear the waterways in each one needs to be mined, another requires good thieving skill, and the last requires a bow or magic to hit the target. A short bow, bronze pickaxe, and a few bronze arrows spawn out in the desert nearby if you forgot any.

Once you've beaten all 3 and made the water flow into the 3 holes the door across from the entrance shall open up and let you inside to talk to the 3 water elemental spirits they’ll explain the curse and how you can undo it.

Head back to Nardah and tell the mayor what you've discovered, he'll explain what's left to do just make sure you grab his shoes and a knife before you head where he tells you to.

Reclaim the statue from the cavern and place it back on its pedestal in the large house north of the fountain to finish the quest.

Reward: 8k prayer xp, 1k mining, 1k thieving, 2 quest points, and use of the statue as an alter that restores prayer and also gives +7 hp temporarily.

*edit added some of the junk from the rs pages to it & split up the walkthru a lil bit more to make it easier to read.*
*edit2: spelling \ grammar rechecked*

anyone wanna gather pics for it feel free to post them.

Nice guide. I finished the quest but I'm a little upset that I gained a prayer level...

Sorry I didn't get any pics, it only took me like 20 minutes so I had no time to take any.

EDIT: Shouldn't this also be in submissions?
