Post subject:  I got hacked.
I've been using 'Kanye West's Runescape Client' the past week and a half, and it obviously has a keylogger in it. All my **** on my main is gone, including 850k and full rune, and a rune pick. Also stole a rune pick on my secondary account.

It really sucks, but the post is mainly to tell you guys NOT USE KANYE WESTS RUNESCAPE CLIENT!

Oddly enough, he didn't steal my rune axe, ha.
Oh well, it happens.

What's there to discuss?

It sucks you got hacked, should of had a bank pin, yes its annoying to type it in every time you log on but its worth the safety. Also, you should probably use a credible runescape client if you even use one.

I dunno whats to discuss, lol.

Yeah, I actually put in for a bank pin and it only had 2 or 3 days left until it was set.
Also, I downloaded SwiftSwitch and was going to use that, but it never worked for me. I saw that one and was like 'eh, okay' :oops:

All I used on it was the autotyper too.
Sux.

Anyone else ever gotten their **** stolen?

About auto-typers, I don't think you get banned unless you keep on doing it over and over again after being warned. They just mute you for a bit, thats what I have heard.

Sorry to hear that you got hacked. That is the reason I only use the Official Runescape Client. It is 100% safe, no questions asked. If not that, then I will play in firefox and nothing else. I will only play on my computer or a computer of someone I can trust. That is why I have only been hacked once, and that was probably about a week after I started playing. :?

But thanks for the heads up on the bad client.

Autotyper is I think apart of Macroing. So yeah, I guess they are illegal and are against the rules.

And yeah, sucks that you got hacked and all, but there isn't too much to discuss about it. Just remember you pay the price for using autotypers and unnofical Runescape browsers. But still, it's a consequence for being lazy, not having a PIN and all.

All I can say is good luck getting back on track.

Bank pin = not for being lazy, I just never knew what it was for like a month. Then when i figured out I was like "Oh **** yeah!" so I put one in, but it needed a week. I was 5 days into it when I got hacked.

Yeah its illegal but its not like you get banned forever because of it.
I don't think autotypers are that bad at all anyways. Typing slow is a disadvantage of players. Its also not leveling you up in skill, do I dont think autotypers should be illegal. Either way, you only get banned for like 1-3 days for that, so its not a big deal.

They should be and are illegal becuase they are a form of macroing, which is against the rules. If someone types slow then they just need to get a typing progam and pratice. :P

True, but I find it easier to buy from people who are using auto typers anyways
