Post subject:  Kharils set
Any good? As it's a crossbow, I assume you can wield a shield as well, which is good, but is it worth it? Is it supreme to any bow-build, or are crystals (or magics) with black d hide way better`? Well yea, basically wondering if I should buy it (or parts of it) or not. Thanks for help.

it's 2 handed, so you can't wear a shield. the bow is ok, but if you don't have 90+ range and 70 def, you won't last very long, so don't buy the full kharil's set.

only the x-bow is worth it really, but karil's is pretty good i guess

How's the crossbow compared to crystal or magic short when it comes to dmg, accuracy and rate of fire?

its more powerful than crystal i think, fires at about the same rate, requires 70 range.

i'd say msb is better cuz you can spec with it...

dont bother getting the whole set, the only thing really worth it is the x bow

the armor is just like blk drag really :|

Crystal bows are 72gp/shot when it's reached it's lowest repair cost. What does the decent bolts (I assume this crossbow uses bolts) cost? Are they easily fletched/similar, or is it timeconsuming to get your hands on them?

bolt racks go for about 300 each? in Port Phasmatys, you can buy them from a person there.

from players or NPC/barrows only.

It hits the same speed as MSB, but hits a bit harder and more consistently. I picked one up for 500k yesterday.

they're only a little more expensive than t hammers (which suck)...

i'd say the x-bow is well worth it, if you have a good range lvl

Kharils has the best mage defense bonus the crossbow is 2H like all barrows items. It is a pretty good set. The special is rather useless as it might as well lower farming. A max hit of 24 i THINK. Slightly slower than MSB and better than crystal 10/10

lol in barrows thats all i can hit on it is mage...
