I am not sure when they came out; was probably with the Port Sarim graphics update.

I think they're just part of the scenery... not intended for anyone to train on. Who'd kill an innocent seagull? At least goblins are ugly.

I think they were there ever since the elemental wizards were created. Perhaps they should drop feathers when you kill them?

The elemental wizards, i believe, were witht the port sarim update, and they shouldnt drop feathers...chickens have far more feathers than seagulls and they drop 5,10, or 15, seagulls (i know this for a fact cuz theres one near my school thats been dead for about 3 weeks) have fewer feathers...or they just camouflauge...didnt really wanna get close to it...it was kinda nasty

I think it was in mid October. There wasn't all that much done, just the seaguls added (I think) and also they made the boats and dock look a little better in quality.

The seagulls came out when Runescape's version of the "big bang" came.
The "horrible" update and "possibly worst ever" update.
Same date as the wizards I believe and the Port Sarim Graphics.
And Same date as the "Worst Worlds Select" page.
It's not really considered new now but I do agree they should drop like a few feathers per kill. Maybe even bird eggs for members?
[But if they drop bird eggs, should be "rare" or something..]
