No, because not many countries celebrate Thanksgiving, as far as I know. Well, we don't here anyway.

They have never had any thanksgiving celebrations on Runescape anyway, so I wouldn't count on anything new. :(

Well I believe Halloween is also American. And not official (yet) in many other countries.

But Thanksgiving will not be a holiday drop in my opinion.

Halloween is supposed to be American, but people in australia still celebrate it. Could only be because of the lollies...

Australias don't celebrate thanksgiving either...

Haloween was originally a Pagan festival, traditionally known as All Hallows Eve. Those pesky Americans took it and made it commercial, and that is what we all celebrate today.

On-topic - Thanksgiving is purely an American festival, and seen as Jagex are a British company, I doubt it would be implemented into the game.

thanksgiving is when the pilgrims (the people that came to america and colinated the eastern states, i.e. Virginia, Deleware, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, etc) and they invited the indians (native americans) to dinner with them almost everyday in november and i think the last day was the thursday in November, that's why thanksgiving is the 4th thursday in every month, but different dates......and that's what thanksgiving is.

And what's so great about it is the family getogether and the big feasts!

please correct me if i said anything wrong

There is thanksgiving in Canada, but it's in October instead of November. I think it's because of the 'harvest' which is just before winter. Canada is colder (waaaaaaay colder) so winter starts earlier. Therefore thanksgiving is earlier.

I get to miss school for it :D

Don't think they will drop anything since like others have said its only celebrated in the States and not around the world like Halloween or Chirstmas holidays depends on your religion.
