i just got this email which is a scam watch out Quote: From: support@jagex.com

also if you read carefully you'll notice that they don't have proper english... your RuneScape character have chance to be changed to a Player Moderator! ??? what's that supposed to mean lol It's supposed to be: your RuneScape character HAS A chance to be changed to a Player Moderator! even I know that jagex staff always uses proper english lol |

Ok, the entire sentence is incorrect. The Jagex Team aren't THAT fond of run-ons. A proper version of it would've been: You have been chosen by Jagex Staff moderators (which ones?) for the role of a Player Moderator due to your past record in the game (They know this history out of millions of players. How?). Your RuneScape character has a chance to be changed into a Player Moderator! (Exciting?) Even 'having a chance'. Sounds like player mods are based on luck like those bottle cap contests. The Jagex Team says they're 'hand-picked' and not 'chosen to compete'. Be careful, though. They knew your e-mail address and that you play Runescape. If you want to find out who, you should consider whoever can know both those things and obviously doesn't like you. |
