I think that runescape should make drops tradable....because the fun in getting drops is for the times two years from now (for example the candy the kid's dropped today on halloween or the zombie head) people would say "buying zombie head 3 mill" or "buying all green candies 200k ea!!" I think that some of the prices are pretty ridiculous like the phats and the santa hats....but that's the fun in item trading and it's also cool walking around with something on that's worth 10 mill + ![]() |

yeah, but its not cool when people buy all of the remaining rares, alch most, then selling for ridiculous prices, eventually overthrowing the RS economy...anyone else? |

Well, if they want to alch them that's their problem. Having a holiday drop which you got and not bought, should make you feel proud. If you want to sell it for an insanely large amount of money, then good luck PS I want them tradeable too ![]() Quote: This is made so that players can't take advantage of people who couldn't make it to the event
Then I don't think it's fair that people who didn't made it to the event lose the chance of getting the drop |

dunno if theres yellow...but, i dont think they should be tradeable...perhaps to buy for a set price from npcs though, and then you can always get it back for free (or have the price rais X% every month/year...i really wish i could get a scythe or bunny ears...or phats ![]() |

There is no reason to make the holiday items tradeable. There is a reason that they stopped doing it. It makes that market fly, and all the people who want the item but were not there to get it complain that it is too expensive. They make these events last for a week for a reason, if you miss out then theres nothing you can do. |

Why make the items tradable NOW after people know about how they will be worth millions after a few years. Back when they first started with the droppable items, no one knew that this would happen so they weren't racing to get 5000 of everything. They were happy with one (or maybe a few) and didn't think about money making at the time. Now if they were to be made tradable, there would be 50 billion of them because everyone would get like 10000. (note, everything i just said might be completely false) |

i like the idea's of tradeable items as much as the next person but.....i think it would be for the best if they where non-tradeable, atleast till we run out of the older rare items |

Making the holiday items tradable will ruin the RS economy more. Look what the phats, santas, and masks have done to it already. |

Well, destroying the economy is not the items' fault. It's the players' fault for being greedy. Now, a tradeable holiday drop would not destroy the economy, rather let the fools who want to spend 90M in a useless item do it |

They should not be tradeable. Now you get a holiday item to show of how long you're already playing. Why let them be tradeable? The use of a Holiday drop would be useless... |

I disagree, and I think they should make ALL drops (hats, masks, eggs, pumpkins) untradable. People who sell/want to sell these things obviously miss the point of these. The items are for fun, not a get rich quick scheme and I can assure you that I don't want ANY tradable holiday items. |

agreed with the above. It is the players fault for being greedy, but making them dropable now won't help anything. the p-hats, crackers, ect didnt become rare because they were old. they got that way because people tossed them away, nd now there are only a limited number in the world. If an even like that were to happen today, the item would NEVER become rare, as the players would be too stingy to give theirs up. And to the "miss the day, you lose", Many people couldn't get online on thos holidays. Easter and X-mas mean family togetherness. You don't have time to log onto runescape for a worthless couple hundred pixels. I'm having the same problem with my X-mas blow out, but the goal of mine is to re-create what RS was like in years past. I'd prefer that people went out and spent time with their family, friends and relatives, but if they don't? Well, thats their call. |
