aRGH, i was trading a zammy large for a half wine. the lvl 68 noob switched it with a dam unfermented and i didnt read!! argh! i hate scammers! not i got 55k left :(

Ouch man, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been scammed out of full rune, so I know kind of how it feels. Scammers are just noobs who don't know how to play the game correctly. I hate scammers.

I got scammed by a pair of pros a little while back (srry, don't remember their names)

First guy came up to me and offered me 6 santas, 3 p-hats (various colors), a ton of money and a bunch of dragon weapons if I could find an Sgg (Short green guy, a cheap gnome drink--found that out later). I hadn't heard of them before, and he told me that they came from rsc, and were really rare. He left, and 20 sec later, another guy shows up and asks if I want to buy an sgg for 300k. Like an idiot (or just a person blinded by wealth) I offered my d hally, and he readily accepted. Half a second after the second screen had been accepted, I realized my mistake--but it was too late, and I had lost my d hally :( (325k down the drain)

To make matters worse, I got scammed later that night when i was trying to buy a zammy kite. A guy was offering a zammy kite for 600k (good bargain) and when I offered everything (d long, d b axe, and 300k--to buy a new d hally), he switched the zammy kite with a regular rune kite :(

Needless to say, I HATE SCAMMERS!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

What sad...

Once i was hacked :?

A guy added me , i didn't knew him and ask for my password :lol:
i said no ty and blablabla...

but the guy was realy mad about this and just hacked me :cry:
he said ok if you realy wanted...

after i logged out, the next day i was somewere in a house in falador,
i ran to my bank and everything was gone:

Full rune with every thing , Adyy (g) helm , Rune b-axe,scimmy,longsword,
rune pick axe, rune hatchet, ....

It was hell :cry:

I had like the something happen while i was in a free world cause i had full rune, glory ammy, rune Hally on at the time i was in a free world cause i was helping a friend ... anyway he did the same thing to me like frozen .. needless to say that night i lost like all that and i had a second set in the bank too ya it sucked and i still haven't made all the money to buy like all that stuff back yet.. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

nearly everyone has been scammed... some of you may remember, and others may not (didnt play that long or what i dunno) back in rsc they put commas and seperate colors for every 3 digits worth of item put up because a bunch of people got scammed by guys buying party hats 10m each and only paying 1 mil, well that day i was up 1 mil in cash and down a red party hat (rawr i had bought the thing during the big dupe and had only payed 30k for it in the first place but thats not the point...)
and chimeng,always read the second screen carefully

i got scammed of full rune zammie i got so ***** of i bought it off my friend for 700k with other stuff too and my account go thacked 2 times too and lost full rune (g) both times i no how it feels im on ly level 61 i do most of my skills

Some guy traded a rune sword then Declined and goes "Oh, sorry" so i offered my money again, but he switched the rune with iron and i couldn't see (they were in notes) and on the second screen I was just about to click accept, noticed it was an iron sword and saved myself 35k

no offense guys but i think the switching thing is really sad to get scammed by. I mean all u have to do is read the second screen. Its not hard and it takes like 2 secs...so there really isnt an excuse to get scammed like that....

correct me if im wrong

yes handycapduck, it is sad. But then many people r scammed that way, including me. All the other times people switch items i look at da second screen, but then wen i got scamm it was 2am in the morning, so i wasn't functioning as well as i would of if it wasnt 2am. And o yea, for whoever asked how u make 1 million look like 10M. back in rsc, they had commas, i.e 1,000,000. People could easily switch 1,000,000 with 10,000,000. But now the make the single digit millions "1000k" and make 10 million and up "10M", 20M " etc etc..But yea, im slowly earning my money through pking. --Pked full rune, rune chain, 3 rune scimmys and 2 ruen kites last nite :).
