so i just spent money on runes for crumble undead. i went down to edge and started maging skelys with armor.

within an hour, 7 people walked past me told me to take off my armor, and told me that u dont get exp for not hitting(wow which noob help site actually said that? :roll: )when i explained why im wearing armor, they called me a noob and said "ur wasting ur runes"

i highly doubt they ever trained mage, so i looked up their highscores. wow, i was really sorry for them. 3 of them dont even have magic on highscores, yet they told me, a 70 mage, something thats not true.

i used my money on the runes, so its my right to do whatever i want with it. just because you never trained mage this way does not mean you can assume that its "wasting money."

sometimes i really wish people think before they make a comment.

well it depents sometimes what armor you wear. If you wear rune or any other non-magic armor you hit less and you get less exp from the runes. But still I do think they should mind their owwn bussines

Different in the case of Crumble Undead though.

Correct me if my logic is off here,
But you get exp for CU by just perforiming the spell,
thereofre if you wear armor, you stay on one
monester longer, whihc is less hassle.

Is that how it works?

I know how ya feel, I casted 10k water strikes
on Blue Dragons...Man a lot of people were
mad at me those 2 weeks.

I beleive your exp is number + damage * 4
and the number is the amount of exp you get for just casting

You still do get XP for not hitting damage, but don't you also get more XP for hitting damage? Anyways I know how you feel, even on my pure I was training magic with Curse with armor on, tons of people called me a noob and told me to take my armor off. :roll:

though i never tried mage with armour, i believe it's in some sort of magic AFK guide

if u wear armour eg rune u do not hit as much or as high...i couldnt even kill a cow wearing armour....

i do that alot atr 79 mage and ppl call me a noob and htere 30 lvls under me i just dnt say any thing well....sometimes i get mean :lol:

yea seems like a waste of runes to me as u do get more xp based on the damage u deal per cast, if ur gonna wear armor better to wear mage armor and get the most outta ur runes, but like u said it is ur cash do what u wanna do.

the stats to not hit for crumble undead are a magic bonus of worse than -55, for that u need gnome ammy, full rune with kite, any vambraces, metal boots(?) and a ring of life(safety measure). U need like 65+ def for AFK to work or u die in less than 10 minutes. Best to use on lvl 21 skellys barely hit u underlining the AFK method
