Well I've got to the last part where I need to join one of the companies. I chose The Yellow Fortune. I've heard that you could select your jobs by just going back and talking to them again before accepting the job. So with the secretary I only accepted Coal and Iron jobs. I successfully completed 5 tasks for the secretary so I went to talk to the President. At the moment I only have Iron and Mithril bars in my bank, so I was planning on only accpeting those. I refused a few jobs for the President, hoping that they would then ask for Iron or Mith bars, but instead after a few denials the President will no longer talk to me. Unfortunately, I think that I now have to do 5 tasks again for the secretary? But now the Secretary is only asking for Tin Ore & Copper Ore, which I have none of in my bank... What the heck is up with this...? |

Very peculiar situation I must say. The president will want a good variety of bars, and, as you said, apparently so will the secretary. When I completed the quest I specifically got around 20 of each ore and bar just so I would be covered in the case of a lot of tasks. Try and get the best tasks you can from the secretary, with ore you'll need to collect... then go to the president and have lots of bars ready for her. That way there'll be no backtracking as you won't need to decline tasks. |

Thanks for the help, I finally finished it. I experienced multiple bugs in that quest though. I was playing on Low Detail and after the meeting on the fade-out screen Runescape froze, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't lag. The whole Java applet froze. But anyways, got it finished ![]() |

The cutscene wasn't that great. But its better than a frozen java screen.. |

I experienced a similiar situation; I declined xx number of tasks in a row and had to start over (dont remember which company, but I believe it was also the yellow). Went to the purple and had no problem. For the second round I did stock enough of all bars to pass anyones test. Have the guides been updated? I remember no mention that declining xx number of tasks reset your clock to zero.... ![]() |

Whatever you do, don't play on High Detail in Firefox ![]() Anyways I still saw the cutscenes in Low Detail, the last thing I saw was when the head of my company's Director was on the finished statue. Then I assume I was to be taken back and shown the quest summary page, but that's when the applet froze. When I refreshed and logged on I was back in the Commander's house with the Meeting Notes and the quest complete. I guess I'll never ever get to see the pretty little summary screen ![]() Oh well. |
