Post subject:  Attack Stance
I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but if not I am sure the mods will move it!

Here goes, I have been recently trying to get my Defense lvl up, and I have been doing so by killing monsters that I have been asigned to kill by the slayer master (for me the one in Lost City). Any way, as I am trying to up defense it is the last attack stance on the menu (it goes attack, strength, equal, defense), and I also log off from time to time to look on forums and so on. When I log back on, I am now on attack mode. I don't want to increase my attack lvl. I was wondering if others found this annoying also, it would be good to know that I am not the only one.

yea i am always annoyed at that. They should just set it to whatever it was when u logged off 8)

Autoers think of the autoers. If they log off the autoer logs them back in, usually autoers want to train a specific thing so if it stayed on str for example they would never have to worry about logging off and having 99 attack hehe. Good idea but maybe they should ask you right when you log in what you want as your attack style.

Well, I was thinking it could be like we have with the sound and other preferenses. It just remembers what your attack stacne was when you last played.

I'm glad to inform you.... you're not the only one! I get ***** too when that happens, leveling strenght, log out for inactivity, log in, attack level :/

that is why i always check before i fight. ain't that hard just click.

Its just a matter of forgetting :wink:

I know that when im training with my rune scimmy (4 melee options) then switch to the staff (3 melee options) to high alch something, it switches to attack already, and stays when I go back to scimmy. Most times i remember to turn it back though. :wink:

yes this is annoying but really theres a simple solution...when fighting ceck your attack stance before begining. if its not what you want you could use that new age invention called a mouse and click the one you want...not that hard. its reall just to prevent autoers..it would be far too easy for players to advance the skills they want if some things did not reset upon logging in

The only time it's bad is when you lose your connection...then it resets itself and i just carry on training only to realize an hour later im on attack. -.- If i log out i know it's changed..not really a problem.
