Where do you train magic?

Another fun way to get magic xp is to go to Salarin the Twisted in the Yanille agility dungeon. You can only kill him by using strike spells, so take a fire bstaff and some mind runes. You hit 12's every time (except the last, which is a 10). There are a few chaos druids there to train melee on using your bstaff while you wait for salarin to respawn.

Salarin the Twisted drops the Sinister Key. This key opens a chest that has Torstol (the herb used to make Zamorak potions). The chest also contains 1 kwuarm, 1 irit, 2 harralanders, and 4 rannar (Correct me if this isn't right). When I go, I usually get 2-3 keys per 250 mind runes.

This is a really inexpensive way to get magic xp and awesome herbs.

It's also a little bit of fun and something to do that's out of the ordinary.

Ohhh BTW - you need a rather high agility level to get to Salarin, and a high thieving level if you want to use the back door to the dungeon ;)

ya i heard salarin was a good way to train but i still need 9 more agility lvls. I usually train on gr8ers in the dungeon south of yanille or i high alch stuff.

i'm lvl 42 now magic :oops:

I'm training at the mine in wilder lvl 9, there are a lot of skeletions
sow i use crumble undead and i trainen 10 k exp in 10 minutes :P

and you raise your runecraft a lot to :arrow:
so maybe try that :wink:

for magic or range i luv blue drags, good exp, blue hides that pays back runes, and drag bones that own prayer/worth alot if u want to sell around 3k ea

i raise my mage by makin nats, and trading them for

1 nature : 2 and a bit chaos

then i buy/make airs and cast crumble undead in varrock sewers on zombies for cheap mage xp.


example trade = 650 nats : 1650 chaos

also, crumble undead gives similar xp to high-alch, so i got well over double the xp in this trade!!!!

I train my magic on moss giants - north of ardougne near gnome stronghold, stand behind rocks and cast a curse then just attack with any combat spell u have.

Hey, i'd say you should buy 1000 chaos, 2000 earth, and go own the skelly's and ghosts in varrock dungeon (you can hit them across the water/river thing) using 'crumble undead' this is an awesome way to train, and it took me 1hour to get from 51 magic to 58 :D

cool, i'm training my magic with +600 laws from lvl 47 magic to 51

now i'm training magic -> 55 with crumble undead
and teleporting also :wink:
