Post subject:  Do you like the combat system?
Do you like the combat system in Runescape? Personally I don't like it...
I want it to be more interactive. Like space=dodge, ctrl=attack, and shift=magic, and enter=prayer.

Do you like the combat system in RS now, or would you like it changed?

State your reasons, why you dont/do like it, and how it could be improved.

I like it, as it means I can do other things while attacking :wink:. I do like your idea of a new system though, but that might be a bit comlicated for newbies. I like it how it is - means I don't have to concentrate too much 8).

I like it because it depends on your levels, and changing it to the way you're proposing, it would depend on your skill to move your fingers as well as timing it to dodge and attack effectively. Besides a new guy would be in disadvantage as he wouldn't be familiarised with moving the controls good enough to win the battle contrary to players who have played other games and can make their character kick ***

Edit: Oh and actual Runescape can actually be played without keyboard (I can tell from experience) whilst that combat system would require a keyboard and some users maybe just can't get one for different reasons

I don't like how the controlled option was pretty much dropped when rs2 came out...I used that a lot in rsc. BUt other than that, its alright.

i like it..not too complicated but not too simplistic either. fits with the rest of the game well..if they added in controls that required finger movements and a keyboard it might decrease the games popularity due to difficulty levels for new players and well..idiots lol

I don't like the huge amount of random luck that's involved. And pking needs some skill brought into it other then that..if it's you vs a monster it's fine.

i like it how it is, this is how it's always been, why would it be changed? creature of habit :oops: personally, i'm a fan of how it currently is, easy to learn, time consuming to master :lol:

i prefer rs1 combat system....i created a pker on there recently and i find it a lot more fun than rs2 combat

No no no no no...

While that idea isn't terribly bad, it's just that would totally change Runescape. If that happened, I might not even play anymore, it's like creating a totally new combat system. I like it fine the way it is now.
