| Post subject: | First Impressions of Runescape. |
What did you think of runescape when you first started playing? I personally didnt like it at first. I didnt know my way around..didnt have much clue where I was going and then....I got killed by a scorpion. I was completely lost and didnt know how to get back the items I had lost. Then I ended up nearly dieing again from a mugger. At this point I was confused, very frustrated, and my 18 year old ego completely destroyed by a the fact that I couldnt understand the game. Then my friends convinced me to give it another shot and I completely started over with wildrice206. I took the time to find the world map and the manual and shortly became hooked on the game. It was a close thing though...if I hadnt given it a second shot I wouldnt be playing today. So what did you all think at first? ~wild |

first time i played i thought it f2p was huge!! Nearly died to a scorp too seemed to be the in thing at them time. Then once i dmed my friend and won and couldn't just stop there so i got really into the game.

The first thing I nearly died to was a cow,but first thing i did die to was a dark wiz lvl 20 when I was exploringXD  .

started in 2002, which i died to a goblin. then i thought the graphics suck, nothing special about anything, so i quitted. 2003, my freinds started playing it so i created a new char and learnt the game and played it the right way. mid 2003, quitted runescape coz i still think it sucks. 2004, rs2 came out, slightly better graphics. so i thought i might play again. long eh? |

The rsc tutorial was really long...I had to do it in 2 hours lol... Oh, and I happened to think that I could overtake a bear.

My first thought i remmeber being: "How the hell do i open this door..." Rsc tutorial wasn't very helpfull.

At first i had no clue what to do, but as i started to realise there were quests and stuff, then i started to get hooked to the game. And, lol, i was so annoyed becoz i died and lost 80gp against a scorpian! Yes, a bit n00bish but wateva.... |

well when i first started playing i had never heard or runescape..classic or 2. i had watched my little cousin play it for about 4 hours straight and he was explaining what it was then i was like "meh thats cool" then when i got home i started playing and i was like wow this is so cool then i thought it sucked cos it took me like 2 days to figure it out but i was still a noob then and then i made a really really good friend who hleped me with like everything i needed or didnt understand and thats how i kept playing. ive never quit but came close to it the first time i got hacked. runescape rocks! simple as that.. |

lol classic tutorial... they didnt even have a tutorial on classic when i started. yes it was that long ago. i had only seen my older brother play the game once, and thought it looked awesome. but of course, since hes a total jerk he didnt help me at all, and i had to figure everything out on my own. i still loved it tho. coolest cpu game i ever played |
