Post subject:  Near Death Experiences
Have you ever just barely made it out alive of a situation in Runescape, and after you are safe you heart is actually pounding? If you have, post it here.


Just yesterday I was on a level 3 treasure trail. My coordinates led into the Khazari Jungle. I went there equipped with ranging gear and prayer pots. I dug at the spot and a Saradomin Wizard appeared. Unfortunately, I did not find a safe spot to range fast enough. I was hit pretty hard with the dagger and then was poisoned. My health was deteriorating and it took me a whole 20 seconds to realize I had been poisoned. My HP was getting really low, so I turned to my trusty anti-poison pots. Wait! Where were they? Oh well I guess I'll just have to eat some food... Oh no! I forgot to bring food also! Luckily I had teleport runes, so I quickly teleported to Varrock. I started to run to the bank and was hit for a 6 with poison, leaving me with only 6 hp left. I got to the bank and quickly got out an anti-poison pot... luckily for me I keep my pots at the top of my bank. I drank it, probably just seconds away from getting hit again from the poison.

If I had died, I would have lost a black beret, full red dragonhide, ranger boots, my lvl 3 clue, and other things. Oh, did I mention I was skulled? After I just barely survived, my heart was actually pounding... :P

i had one when i was at full hp, and then my internet connection broke. When i logged back on, i had 6 hp and a jail guard was attacking me.

My hp bar lookad all red, but i had 1 hp left.

I ran behing the fence and started maging it.


That was the worst glitch experience...

I have 2, back when i was a newb, i tried to take the wine of zammy, i ran as fast as I could away and escaped. One time when i was in wild, i got attacked, my computer auto restated, i got back on, and found myself alive, and teled away.

Many of times.. Mostly when im in 55 wildy digging behind magic axe hut.. or when i did mage arena and so on.. :(

When i see that dreadful red cb lvl of a pker.. my heart races.. hehe

running down to lvl 20 wildy with 20 lvl 100s* on my tail...I just got away with no food and 10hp left... :shock:

True story, but everyone tells me im exaggerating..grr

*Generalization. There were in fact lvls 100-124 on my tail.

I was with full zammy and santa hat with glory ammy and ring of wealth. Since i got reverted to f2p, if i lose my member stuff, its gone forever :shock: I was traiing at ice giants and that guy's healthbar was over mine so i tho i was at full health but i wasnt! When i checked my stats window to see how far i was from lvl80hp, i realised i had only 16 hp left!!! Then the giant hit a 6 on me so im down to 10hp but, thx to my trustworthy protect melee prayer, i was able to escape the blurite cave 8)

Yep...

I was in Edgeville dungeon wilderness, ranging Black Demons. I had just killed one, and went to pick up its drop. As soon as I got to the pile of stuff, what do I see?

"Connection lost
Please wait - attempting to reestablish..."

I panicked. It took almost a minute for it to "reestablish," and then I found myself being whacked by black demons - I had 6 hitpoints left! I was wearing thousands of iron arrows, full black dragonhide, a tan cavalier, an amulet of glory, and all the other semi-expensive fancy stuff I had.

I rapidly clicked to the safe spot that I was a mere three or four squares away from, and eventually made it to safety after a demon whacked another 4 off my health points. Luckily, I had teleport runes on, so I quickly teleported to Camelot, ran to the bank, and ate as fast I could.

It fits your description perfectly; my heart was definitely pounding during and after that experience.

Once i actually died wearing a santa hat on karjama dungeons by the lessers on a p2p world. Amazingly i ran all the way back and to my surprise it was still there..along with my stuff no one had picked it up..and it hadn't disappeared. Not really near death but dam lucky eh?

Another near death i was wearing a phat on entrantia (sp?) and had to let my mother read her emails i figured i was safe there! And just left it logged on thinking i would log out. I came back with 10 hits and a swarm hitting me..surrounded by about five players. Rotfl that was extremely lucky.

One time, I was fighting lesers. with full rune, nothing much, except to me.
I started to post somehting on here, forgot about RS, I got auto lohged, and came back with 7 HP.

When iron drags first came out i went there to check them out, and they were crowded so getting one was lucky. I finally got one and a system update came up. I only had a couple of prayer pots and just lobbies with my sara plate and other rune. It logged me out and i logged back in at lumby (ring of life).

i have quite a few but my favourite is as follows;


I was pking with 4-5 other people (lvls 75-90) and we ran into two Rangers (lvls 92 and 114) at the rune rocks i (stupidly) went for the first lvl 114 ranger but soon was forced to run, i ran for the ardounge tele lever, with him in close pursuit hittng 17s and over, i ate as i ran but as i reached the web i ran out of food and thought i was about to die but out of sheer luck he hit 4 0's in a row and i got through the tele lever..... with 2 Hp left

Shoot, I got a good one... Its kinda funny. I logged in and went pking. well, I went to the green drag area... killed a few... Then headed north to the mage arena... Well, when I got there, 2 lvl 80 mages jumped my ***** and tryed all this stuff... I have no clue. I was panicking. I got to the lever that brings you to Ardounge with 3 hp... Talk about an adrenaline rush...

i was wearing my robinhat and rangers and black dragonhide killing blue dragons like i so love to do. I was picking up my stuff and i accidentally attacked an ogre shaman (dont ask). it hit like a 30. i auto attacked it and i gained a hp lvl from that one hit! the next hit broht me down to 1 hp!! my heart was pounding like hell after that! luckily i moved to the safe spot

Well in rs i was in the wilderness and i started lagging and when it stopped i had like 4hp left and a newbs items in front of me.
In rl I almost got hit by a car :D

Know that camera turning trick, where you wedge something and make the camera just keeps turning and turning?

Well, before I always do this, I take everything off so if a random event comes and kills me, I lose nothing.

I forgot about doing that, and did the trick. Then went to the crapper.

A Dwarf got me to 2 hp before I noticed. I was wielding a dragon spear and a skull at the same time too.
