Runescape Bits & Bytes :: View topic - My amazing suggestions

Ok i have made a list of things that need to be changed as jagex has no clue what so ever lets hope they read this!

- Protection prayers need to be moved up to a level between 50-70 i AM NOT a pker but i dam well disagree a level 60 should get an easy run from a level 100 because he has a measly level 40 prayer.

- Mining needs to give high levels a chance to beat low levels. Random is pathetic i am sick of being beat by a level freakin 40 miner.

- Money is far to easy to make now. Stop realising good armor and weapons and making them stupidly easly to get - people should WORK for there money.

- Remove the luck system. It's pathetic.

- Increase magic logs and sharks time by how high a level you are so it is AT LEAST noticable claiming it does is stupid and i don't believe you.

- Ban people.

- If someone has stars appear five times in a minuete the game should auto mute them for 10 mins.

- Sort out the forums - they suck. Worst forums i've ever seen.

- Stop bringing out god dam weapons and armor..jesus what about those of us that don't particuly care about pking or melee?

- Put some variety in your quests. "go here - get this - get back here - kill that - well done here have a useless 5k exp"

- Stop catering for low levels.

- Put up a links page on your main site intitled "games better then runescape" so the next time and there will be a next time you decide to kiss low levels feet i can leave and take my money else were.

i agree with alot of it.. but the 5 stars in a minute thing... there sensore is stupid.. it blocks the non bad words... but doesnt block the bad words... it happens to everyone when trying to say something.

i disagree with 1 and 7.. 1 being the prayer thing,, i think its at a good level actually since prayer is really freaken hard to raise without money. Low lvls should be able to use it in high lvl wildy.. number7: That mute thing is kinda not well thought through sorry.. People shouldnt be muted because jagex has one stupid pathetic censor that they cant even program right

Prayer is hard enough moving the last 3 prayes up would make a harder balance besicdes RS1 had it's highest prayer at 40! Why should i care if they are moved up I'd get them back in 4 levels anyway Mining=i'm lvl 78 and i get beaten to mith sometimes by a 56? not cool. - Remove the luck system. It's pathetic. Yes where is my genie! - Ban people. Please i see autoers in the mining guild like flyes on a horse's back!

I have to agree, money is getting insane, i saw a lvl 10 with a santa hat, what is RS coming to?!?!? Remove the luck system. It's pathetic. Yes, it is annoying there should be a set pattern e.g. - After 5 kills a good drop, then after 3, then after 7, then after 4, then repeat it. Dont understand this one fully, but still, what i can understand, it seems like a good idea, the higher lvl the faster the amout of things. Ban People. They do, dont they? with the muting thing, sometimes when you type sentences and you star accidentaly so it would be hard to make a fair system to monitor this, and low levels need to be catered for too, you probably are saying this because you are a high lvl. but all lvls (high or low) should be included in the updates.

I agree with some of them, but not all of them. I like the "get rid of randomness" and "higher lvls should really be better than lower lvls". As for your prayer, i think it would be better if they just ADDED some better prayers for higher lvls. I mean, there really isn't that much point in going higher than 50, but for the longer prayer lasting, and the prestige.

The only high lvl update all last year that DIDN'T get ruined by low levels whining: desert treasure. And that only didn't get ruined because the reward sucked unless you was a mage pker. I think i and a lot of other people have a right to be slightly angry. As for the chat..guys..after FIVE hole times! Do you all honestly just type the same thing repeatidly hoping it wont blank it out? If you really do then ok..move it up to 10 times in a minute. Prayer..it really isn't that hard to train anymore..new things are coming out..it's getting easyer. Yes yes f2p will get it harder..but who cares? It just incourages them to join p2p.

Yes jagex for god sake ban that dam german autoer clan!!!!! Like one of you said they are so many of them. I find it so sad to see RuneScape HighScores be ruled by autoers. ALso the minning thing, I am sick of lvl 58 minners out minning me just because they have a rune pick.... I am 81 minning and I should earn the right to be able to out mine lower lvl miners.

I'm responding in order of the suggestions: Prayer system does need an improvement. Higher/more spaced out levels I agree with. Yes, I'm tired of whacking away at a mith rock for 2 minutes and some random kid with only the minimum level comes up and gets it in the first shot. Or make the bloody armor have more **** requirements, Merchants KILL me. Also, could we try not trade-able? Seems alot of the not trade-able stuff isn't worth trading anyway. Luck system...you mean that thing which gives rare stuff to those who don't really need/use it? Hmmm... Agreed fully, goes with my mining opinion. Also agreed Shut the runts up, but then Catherby would be deathly quite I don't bother too much with their forums, all I see is a bunch of whining and begging anyway. Items or otherwise. Or how 'bout we make it not trade-able? And if they don't want it, make it so you can sell it to an NPC. Other than that I like the Barrows armor, shiny! Agreed, how about some more quests with multiple branches? You know, like taking sides. Most of the ones you cna schoose a side are pretty week. How about a quest of Desert Treasure sized proportions (and plot too if it's possible ^_^) with 3 or more questy paths? That would make my day... Big 10-4 on that good buddy Oh that was funny...why not? Tylon

I think i and a lot of other people have a right to be slightly angry. ok so there are alot of updates for mainly low levels, but Jagex can do what they want with runescape, we only pay $5 or £3 a month we don't run jagex, they are free to update as they see fit, and high levelers did get the barrows update recently....

I disagree with the first suggestion. I think level 43 for all prayers IS high enough. But like a few have said before, MORE prayers for higher levels would be good.
