GRUNGE GUIDE

Ok well befor i start you will need some Grunge brushes go to http://www.deviantart.com and look for some thers tons of great ones ther. You will also need somthing like photoshop go to download.com and please type in photoshop and do the 30 day trial!or you can just click Here
Oh and i almost forgot i would like to thanks "Forgotten" for zymic forums for helping us all out with the tutorial thanks!

Make a 350x150 transparent image with 72 res

Press D and then go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds

Press Ctrl + Shift + N then set the layer to Soft Light and then press B and open up my grunge set or what you want

Randomly dab the new layer with black grungey brushes, then press Ctrl + J then go to Edit -> Transform -> 180* you should have something like this:

Now press Ctrl + J
AND SAVE IT!

Get a image from http://www.gamewallpapers.com (iam using killzone or you can always use any image you like)

Crop the guy's face or and resize accordingly

Add him to the image in a new layer between Layer 1 and Layer 1 Copy

Make sure Layer 2 is selected and press Ctrl + Shift + U

Set Layer 1 Copy to Lighten and the Opacity to 50% you should have something like this:

Go to Layer -> Flatten Image

Press Ctrl + B

Add these values:

Shawdows:__0 | 0 | -15
Midtones:___ 0 | 0 | 40
Highlights:___100 | 100 | 0

you can also change the colors if ya like heres what i got..

And ther you go. You now made your grunge sig!

i really havnt tried all the versions but im positive that they can work for photoshop cs and photoshop cs2 (real positive about that) because one of my friends from zymic forums helped me with this guide :roll: *humf* i can never make a guide on my own lol :lol:

the brushes are basically just picture iv tried putting them in my brushes folder but they wont load since they different format what do i do after i get them ????????????

Well, for your brushes to actaully work, they actaullly have to be brushes and they must be in the .abr format.

I found out what to do u click on the picture of the brush u want and click download to desktop then save it in your folder it auto matically is the correct format i didnt get the download ta desktop part at the top but thats what u do

to find the folder you go to Program files>Adobe>photoshop cs2>presets>brushes

and i delted the brush pack i used because it was getting old sorry
