I have a problem with my game playing in Runescape. Every second, the game hesitates for about 1/4 a second. This makes the game very choppy. It can get very bothersome at times. I first noticed it when I played the game at my friends house, and it ran so smoothly it amazed me. Does anyone else have this problem? Were you able to fix it?

maybe your computer needs some maintenance....such as antivirus scans, a defrag, ect...

naa it wouldnt be that it would most likely be that he just has a slow comp or a bad connection

Check ram status, CPU memory usage. You might have a lot of spyware on your computer. I suggest running SpyBot search and destroy and scanning your computer for viruses until it is all gone.

Also, try clearing your cache & History, this wouldn't directly affect the game, but one I had tons of memory sucking up all of my RAM, anything I tried to do on the computer lagged, especially the Internet.

No matter if its in high res, low res, SUN Java or my standard java, it always does this. I've done virus scans, spyware scans, I've defragged my comp, but it hasn't changed anything. But I think I might know what is causing it. Back a while, we had to get our computer fixed because our video card wasn't working. They fixed it, but we completely lost our 3d card. It might be that, or it might be because I have a low mb video card. Or my computer doesn't run enough frames per second. I don't know, but I've contacted customer support to see if I can fix it.
