Post subject:  A "n00bs" guide to making friends

This guide explains how even a "n00b"(I hate that word...) can make friends on Runescape. I'm F2P so this is more for the F2P people.

Lumbridge is a great place to meet other new players and experienced players alike. Try to start a conversation with different players. Talk to experienced people to get some insiders tips on how to play the game and certain quests etc. DO NOT ASK FOR FREE ARMOR OR WEAPONS! Nothing gets on peoples nerves more than a person saying, "Can I have free weapons/armor/arrows?" or something to that extent.

Another way to make friends is to find someone doing the same quest as you. Shield of Arrav is a great example. One of you do the Black Arm Gang and the other joins the Red Phoenix Gang. Then meet up, give one piece of the shield to the other person, and complete the quest together. Then start another quest together.

Training, not the best way to make friends but still a way, is a subtle way to increase your friends list. Training together with people of about the same level will increase both yours and the other persons level. The only downfall in this friendship is if one persons level gets higher than the others and the person with the higher level will make new higher level friends and forget about you.

The best way to make friends is, ::drumroll::, ::cymbal::, interacting with people who share your intrests. For example, if you enjoy mining (like me) then go into a mine and talk about mining and smithing and what type of axe you prefer. If your a ranger, talk about your opinion whether crossbow or bows are better overall or whats the best armor for a Ranger. Mages, talk about how many people you PK or whats the highest you've hit or the highest spell you can cast. Warriors, talk about your strength, attack, or defense levels or your highest hit, or how many people you PKed.

This guide should make Runescape a happier and increase the length of your friends list!

But watch out with so called "friends", My FRIEND is once got scammed , guess by who, his m8. He asked his Saradomin kite for a screenshot and once he got it he placed him on ignore list.
THE POINT IS:
!!!! NEVER GIVE ITEMS TO WHO YOU DON'T KNOW IN REAL LIFE!!!!

a very nice guide.my advice is that yoy shouldnt make freinds with a p2p when your planning on being f2p for awhile.i did this and he never EVER talks to me.i should just remove him. my first freind too...lol maybe its just him though.
